You’ll never regret getting this one, this car took me to almost every corner in mongolia without any problem. I’ve got 2017 one in the garage. It becomes more aggresive when it comes to tuning :)

It's a tremendous gas hog .. it has a 7 km per liter highway rate .. and it comes only with a manual transmission
@@mohalostath in Aus it only comes in v8 diesel and fuel usage is acceptable. In sand dunes uses less fuel than 4cyl diesels.

Sorry for all of us but US government don’t let any reliable truck like the Land Cruiser get here in the states, they want you to changes car every 5 to 7 years.
I love it, is amazing work horse, Diesel, solid axis in front is a SUV for generations.

J W yes Sr, you can find anything from the 70’s Land Cruiser to a brand new, check with Canada custom about importing that kind of vehicle.

Tyler Davidson the point is not to have something that’s just rugged, but reliable. The only Land Cruiser we have is the luxury model. We don’t have any other off road SUV’s like the Land Cruiser that are reliable.

Toyota can we please get a rugged off road simple and reliable manual transmission car for the US market? I know this isn't what most suburban mommies call "a good car" but please even offer the thing for one year let us car people satisfy our cravings. I'm stuck buying a 2020 civic manual hatch since that's the only stick car I fit into with reliability.

kelly baum mainly it’s the safety standards, but that doesn’t make any sense at all. 25 year old vehicles are very unsafe and have horrible fuel efficiency compared to new vehicles. But no, we have to buy the old shitty vehicles instead of a brand new fuel efficient one. It’s pretty goddamn stupid IMO

The range is collectivley called 70 Series. The Wagon is a 76 and the Twin Cab and Single Cab utes are 79 series. The Troop Carrier (Troopy) is a 78 series.

Toyota had very weird market strategy! In USA you got ( tundra sequia 4runner tacoma highlander and sienna ) while in my country we got ( LC70 series with engines verities and LC200 with ( v6 and two v8 and one diesel with countless trim levels for LC200 and also got hilux , prado, fortuner, enova which is crappeist van ever and yeah we still have FJ cruiser and sequia we have it for 10 years and now discontinued!!

James Nash sorry , US government don’t let any reliable truck like the Toyota Land Cruiser get here, they want to you change car every five to seven years and Land Cruiser will send bankrupt the US car makers.
Google Account what’s really stupid about the law, is that they won’t let you import things that are less than 25 years old. It doesn’t make sense that you want us to buy a less safe and less fuel efficient vehicle, if that’s the point of not importing in the first place.
Ya Boi CJ good bless Mr Cj , well I never said buy a unsafe car or less efficient car or truck, in my case I don’t want a car is 20 or 25 years old of course not, always I buy a car a least 5 years old.
Another point is even the Toyota add safety features to the car US don’t let in, car makers lobbyists in the government always push for something they know is going to be a success here at the US, but this is happening since decades ago so who cares , the law is the law.
