Precisely you need 76.92%. If you forget the exact number, it is derived from 1/1.3 (because cannon has internal +30% floor potency). I build a Xover+80 no fixa, no potential unlock, with mixed deftness and defensive augments, and I loved it! (Dread Keeper V should be your first choice).
Aegis/Interception = Elder (think all the arms each of them has) Solus = Luther (Think how it looks in general and the stage layout when you fought him) Dalion =...Apprentice? In episode 5 of base game she had 4 people she once possessed and 1 person she took control of in the story. Maggie=Minion in center. You could also fight apprentice with your Mecha or Dark Blast in base game and here you are forced to fight Dalion with your cannons. And your mecha had a sword and gun, while your cannon has a sword and gun. So are we eventually going to get a DF symbolic to Gemini in NGS?
8:30 you can in fact parry/dodge the Red Circles, Dalion will do a signature move the "drop down" with his hand which if timed perfectly you can parry it. 👌 I only fact test this with Braver so idk about other classes.
Hmmm, I think weapon potential doesn’t work with canons, coz in days of vershmel weapons (100% crit) it wasn’t using it. So for spare weapon you can save some meseta - limit break and enchant’s only. Also you can now use exp capsules directly to your weapon, no more gold II exchange shenanigans
Weapon potentials will not work for cannons. That's why if you decided to build a cannon weapon, you only need a +80 weapon, you do not need pot unlock, you do not need any fixas, but put floor potency augments on it, especially for slayer players who build potency gears.
thank youuuuu, most ppl r just a nervous wreck and cant figure things out until the only thing left of them is just a bloody smear 7u7 and even then they just became another splat on another round =_=
it was his early run and that dps is not very good. I am floating between 8.5k to 9.2k dps as ranger and some skilled players can do beyond 11.5k dps. You probably need a team with average 7.5k~8k dps per person to clear it.
Ship 2 is a disgrace they keep rage quitting over and over not even letting people learn the fight. I just said screw this im going to bed and try again tomorrow. But thank you kerropi for this video so people can have a understanding on how mechanics work
I really don't think your potency floor or weapon is going to effect the cannon but i could be wrong, however it never effected any other instance of using the cannon before now so idk why it would be any different this time
Stupid question. I seem to remember at the time of DFA dropping, Vers weapons were considered great for that version of the Mobile Cannons. If you have a high-Termina Vers weapon, will it work as a stat piece for the Cannon phase, or does it absolutely need to be a piece with floor potency? And does regular potency still matter for that piece, since all I've heard touched on so far is floor potency?
what I hate from dalion is the hard counter-attacking pattern on phase 1 (before cannon). Ye I'm a skill-issue player and dalion keeps throwing random objects, aoe, the puppet punchs... in a short time. If I missed 1 block/dodge, I'm done bc of everything after that. Braver katana is the only class I can use in Dalion bc its counter is easiest to use and there's no dps lost while u focus on counter attacking.
Thanks for the walkthrough on how to clear it efficiently. Really wish I had endgame capsules to use so I can run it but I'm stuck on LC capsules for the time being.
do you need a strong base weapon and put floor potency on a weapon, or it is just fine to have a weak weapon with all the floor potency, in the cannon phase
We didn't manage to clear it yesterday, but at least got to the last phase. Techters are gonna struggle with this one, mainly because Shifta/Deband doesn't work on the cannon phase. It's still doable if you're a Techter, but you're gonna have to be at your A game for this. Ironically, Rangers will have the upper hand here because the rest of the team can sub Ranger and use Blight Round Self Benefit for the 15% damage boost all the way up until the cannon phase (I swear that's broken, lol). As for that cannon phase, as much as Floor Potency will help in this phase: Don't go overkill on it. Your Atk stat still matters when it comes to damage (And Potency to a degree), so you don't want your weapon to be just a Floor Pot stick. I don't know the exact number of Floor Potency you need to get to hit 100%. I think it's a bit over 70%, since that 30% from the cannon doesn't seem to be additive. But if you can get around 70%, you got enough. And remember that most attacks can be evaded without using dodge, so it's all a matter of keeping that uptime on your normal shot until you can use melee. Also, someone mentioned to me that some of DFD's attacks looked very similar to what you would see on FFXIV. And after having done the fight a good couple of times, I can definitely see that :P. I wonder if Sega is taking notes here. Nah, probably just a coincidence.

@@titus6573 There is still content that can be and is enjoyed by solo players. I am one. You don't need friends to enjoy the fashion side of the game. But if the solo content isn't enough for you, play something else. It's that simple.
Hi kerropi Do you have any tips for cannon phase (apart from those mentioned in the video) that can help people consistently reach above 7k dps? I switched to eftistant with full trash pot floor aug. My pot should be super low but my floor is definitely already 100% during cannon phase. Thanks!
You only need 76.9% floor potency (as displayed in game) since cannon itself has internal +30% potency. You get 76.9% or 0.769 by calculating 1/1.3 You might not wanna use eftistant, because not only transition between phase 2 and 3 are very short, making unit swapping almost impossible, but defensive stats do carry over when you use mobile cannon. Using a weak unit means you will be a glass cannon and will die to some one-shots in phase 2, which is never ever a good idea.
@@delightXD Lol been there done that. I couldn't swap the units on time for p3 and just panic dodged with 2 units equipped. Yea i'm leaning towards not swapping. I can finally reach 7 to 8k with 61% pot floor. I might swap my spi exdi out to deft ones and see where else I can put some pot floor in since i'm slayer most of the time.
Craft a Xover weapon with deftness augments like I did, you do not need to build units. It will be much easier to swap weapon that armors. Also for cannon phase, one thing to pay attention is positioning. If you feel like a down is about to occur, try to play very close to front so you can have a few extra slashes off.
@@delightXD Yea i been using only xover swaps. And i notice people been doing that on youtube with the downs. Just gotta get that feel from experience. I think the reason their cannon dps can reach super high during cannon is because their end of p1 phase's dps gets carried over?
Well, the fight is hard indeed, but honestly I have a lot of fun doing it, the best run I got was leaving Dalion with about 30% HP left before I got time scammed, I might have to make some adjustments on my augments on my armor and weapons, but overall, the biggest part that I see most groups struggle is the 4 clones portion before the cannon phase, and with the rings before the 4 clone phase begins, in my case I have situations when I can't dodge (I think is possible to dodge the attack but the timing is very strict) and I have to get my guard up to mitigate juuuust enough damage to survive one or the two attacks (two attacks if I get screwed trying to get a safe-spot), I have the feeling that if this fight is still consistently played during the rest of the week that I'll be able to pull it off faster than Malignant Aegis (who for a Major Target Suppression Mission has been the easiest between the 3 fights at the current time), I feel they made a great fight where you REALLY can't go *brrrrrr* with little to no plans, you REALLY need to coordinate in one way or another.
Good job man and that's a good advice for people who need it but for me I wouldn't do Dark Falz dalion if I'm say the name right plus I'm going to drop the game eventually I do not like to change that going for NGS but all I got to say man you and emiko good luck with dark falz dalion again I might butcher this name
GDK, Exdi and Highael Domina/ Highkvar Domina are completely sufficient to lay him. If you need extra gear, you're doing something wrong. The simplest method is to focus on position: front right, front left, back right and back left. Alignment seen to the boss. If you play by element focus you have to remember where your element was. You can block/dodge the circles. Indicator is his arm. As soon as he goes down wa. If you're in the back the whole time and the dolls rush in, you're safe in the back, get no dmg and can hit the doll with your sword. You also don't have to worry about the wall where you have to go all the way to the back. (Keep an eye on the shield that breaks in the 2nd round and goes down every 2 adds) Instead, go to the center.
You do not need extra gear, but with current bis setup, you cannot meet max floor potency for cannon phase. Floor potency you need is 76.92%, which is 1/1.3 Current bis is around 75% and slayer mains usually have much lower than that because of Triyals.
With BiS set up you should be really closed but not 76.92% floor. It is close enough for not needing a spare weapon, but you cannot achieve 76.92% using BiS setups.
Wait for next month when we have new addis. They will be significantly stronger than current ones and I am sure there will be a lot of players scratching for it.
Floor potency is multiplicative. If you want 100% floor potency you need 77,1% not 70%

It does matter and always matter. Floor potency carries over to all mobile cannon and throwable objects.
I guess the whole floor potency is that apparently. That's probably similar to Aegis kinda ordeal.

Sadly the weapon potential does not activate with the cannons! (I tested and did very low DPS).

No.
Verschmelz has low base attack stats. Weapon potentials, potency tats and fixas will not carry over.
so a secondary weapon like a flugelgard with nothing but floor pot caps for the canon? (like those mostly useless deft trip and mastery caps)
Use Xover. It is free and will perform better than Flugelgard because base attack stats matter.
