  • We are taking up an issue which concerns a hugely popular and beautiful animal. Unfortunately this animal is facing a very unusual threat to its existence, caused by no other than us humans. No we are not talking about tiger. To understand the eroding elephant corridors of Uttarakhand, our team visited several flash-points. We spoke with the people who have been bearing the brunt of elephant attacks…and also with those who have been studying elephant behavior for long. When the elephants finally cross over from Corbett to Rajaji Park, their problems do not end…In fact, they multiply many times over….In this segment, we will also show what an angry elephant is capable of.
Wilderness Days is a weekly program on wildlife and environment which is telecast on Doordarshan National and Epic Channel. Already, over 112 episodes have gone on air non-spot. The program captures the beauty of Indian wildlife as also various critical issues which affect our environment at large.

Human beings lives and livelihoods should always come first over animals. God gave us charge over this planet and over all the beasts of the earth and fish in the sea. That said the paths belong to us

I don't know who brought u up in childhood and which culture you belong but it's idiotic to think that we have been given charge of planet . We are just trustee to keep planet alive and pass this heritage from generation to generation .
If we don't save these jungles and species then this human species will extinct like dinasaur.
      How pathetic you are.

Elephants corridors still be revived if government make a trust where people can donate and that money used for buying private lands from owners and later transferred to forest department.
