Dead Rising 1 is such a unique experience in everything; storytelling, gameplay, presentation. It's a cullmination of the various golden ages of Capcom as it went through the HD era. It can't get any better than that beyond a remaster. As for the True Ending theme song, whoever it was who put it there is a genius, wraps the entire game up so well, it's just amazing. One of a kind. Especialy with the visuals and the zombie "dance" gimmick based on your own kills.
I think it's a cash grab. Charging $40-$50 for a remaster of an 18 year old game with minor improvements, without the original voice cast and charging people extra for the original costumes is ridiculous. But it's Capcom. They're extremely greedy. Always have been. I have no intentions of buying it. Dead Rising (2006) is a near perfect game as I've pointed out in this video. The time and money spent on the deluxe remaster could have been spent on a new game in the series or making a version of Dead Rising 4 that doesn't suck.
@@misternolife2018 Well, if it's any consolation, they DID fix the Cletus boss fight from what I've seen. And they also fixed the Survivor AI and upgraded the controls to be more reminiscent of Capcom Vancouver's 2010 sequel, Dead Rising 2. But, you do you. I'm not here to tell you how to spend your hard-earned money, and neither are you. So let's go about the whole Deluxe Remaster thing in our own ways, shall we?

I been playing dead rising 2 since dead rising 2 came out I liked every game so far except dead rising 4 there was no coop story mode
