So seeing these older shows, specially ecw and it's pretty crazy how WWE would've benefited from a real good show for competition. If only TNA had played their cards better.

On the SummerSlam 2001 DVD, they have the whole segment uncut, as well as like 20 minutes of off-air footage. Kurt gets back down and starts spraying everyone again, spraying into the crowd a bit, and then straight up into the air making it rain milk. Austin cuts a great, old fashioned "You guys liked this? Well, you guys suck"-style promo for like 5-6 minutes. The off-air stuff is just as good. You have to see it.
1:11:40 they’re supposed to be beer cans. The thing that makes this so great is it’s a spot for spot remake of the stone cold beer truck. Complete with Kurt doing some milk swilling on top of the truck at the end! In his own way Kurt was showing HIS appreciation for stone cold. By recreating one of his most iconic moments 😂😂😂

It's not too surprising WWF New York tanked. It tried to copy the Hard Rock Cafe formula, but Hard Rock Cafe only really succeeded because it was put in tourist trap locations where there weren't any other real options for food or drinks. New York City has no such shortage of better restaurants or bars.
I believe Taker didn’t like DDP because Page planned their matches beforehand (scripting it all specifically), and Taker really hated that he offered him the script.
DDP himself said he wasn't easy to work with at the time. He could just be being smart and not burying it further, especially since almost anyone who is a wrestling fan thinks this angle is stupid for one reason or another.

Man this invasion angle sucked so hard. Even though it had highlight moments but they were just the worst and cringiest of all time. Mainstream wrestling was dead. The wrestling boom was dead. Stone Cold as the heel, like are you fucking kidding me? Burying the legacy of WCW and ECW, it was just sad. This angle could’ve had potential, but it was turned into another McMahon family feud. Cry me a river, this potential storyline was butchered. And it was also the beginning of the obnoxious “What?” chants. 🙄
