- I think it's safe to say that Lukhanyo Am has proven himself as the best outside centre in rugby at the moment. He's just a tremendous player and he had one of his very best performances in a Springbok jersey. He did so playing at wing when he had to replace Jesse Kriel who got concussed early in the game, and South Africa had a 6-2 split so they had to play Am there. He was just everywhere and was electrifying every single time he touched the ball.
South Africa is really blessed to have him as our 13, the guy is quickly turning into a legend in front of our eyes and it's good to see that we as a country, absolutely appreciate him on the field. He has been huge for the Springboks in the Rugby Championship this year, as he has shown vs the All Blacks. It's simple, Lukhanyo Am = Magic. - กีฬา
Best SA player in this game. Everytime he got the ball it was scary.

That Mapimpi try was one of the greatest tries I have ever seen. Shame that it was disallowed. Am was just a beast in both the games. He singlehandedly manhandled Caleb Clarke in the first game. All Blacks had several decisions that went for them and it changed the match. The penalty reversal , the cancelled try and Beauden Barrett's illegal block which was not given as a penalty try. It was a clear scoring opportunity for Hendrikse.
This man is special

I wish i could have seen Danie Gerber and him and Ray Mordt in backline together. That would be have been something.
He played great. Also noticed we gained more meters getting the ball to him faster. He gains more meters, than those ridiculous kicks.
And while playing out of position for 70 minutes…!

Am was man of the match in my opinion.
Exactly why was Willie tackled without the ball. Is this wat we do now? We cant save a try from being scored, so we make sure we atleast tackle someone, regardless, just to look busy and show the coach that we atleast made an effort

@@cecilmahlaba9369 the all wacks needs to be protected at all cost, bryce an all black ref lost his job because of the 2011 world cup, where he cheated us out of it, but protect the image and ego's of the all wacks at all cost

That try from mapimpi should've been a try hendrikse stayed in his channel and Sam Whitlock ran into him and made it look so much worse
Hard done by, his 2 other tries were fine, one was a clear rip and the other hendrix did not change his running line.

@@paddzablaze9764 bud go watch the replay the pass was cleared by The sideline ref (Gardener) there was nothing wrong with the pass. The try stood if there wasn’t the debatable block, go listen it’s impossible to miss the 2 refs agreeing that the pass was fine.
@@manlys4351 and the other which probably should have been a penalty try was when Barrett took out Hendrikse. There was not a chance Richie would have covered that ground and even if he did there were 2 other Bok players not far off Hendrikse right. The incident was a clear indication of how the game was being reffed. The incident happened right infront of him and he let it play on, Gardener the sideline ref who was over half the width of the field away had to call the Englishman up on it. The Englishman was then forced to call the penalty as he wasn’t going to get away with it. Scary how the ref knew exactly what Gardener was calling him up on considering the ball had already been passed through a few hands in the opposite direction of the incident.
@@paddzablaze9764 pass was fine, the ball drifted slightly forward with his momentum. The direction of his hands when he released the ball were backwards. Was flat at worst

Also involved defensively on all 3 first ABs tries : missed tackle on Clarke and poor defensive position vs Taukehiao (even if it was hard to defend, but I didn't write the "magic" thing... I could have at least tried to block the ball) and poor position against R. Ioane and the missed tackle on Ioane in the same action (and another missed tackle on J. Barrett late just before the Havili's try). Still a lot to improve defensively for Am.
He was a centre playing on the wing out of position. Calm down.
@@LB_die_Kaapie i know but that's not me who called him "magic" here. I can easily do a 3 minutes video with all his mistakes and calling him terrible (which would be unfair). He still has a lot to work without the ball to be a better player.

nah, he does such great work at center, off ball,for passing, making space would be wasted on the wing. All this doesn't matter as will still kick the ball away.

He doesnt have the speed for wing. Reiko Ioane absolutely shredded him for the Havilli try in the second half. Ran away from Am like he was standing still.

Nah man, Ioane did not do nearly the amount of lifting that Am showed in this match. He should have been MotM despite being on the losing side. If he scored one of his 2 disallowed tries he would have been.
AM what more to say? would really hate to be a coach right now trying to stop a team with an on form AM and an on form Kolbe by his side with an on form Reinach at scum-half with an on form Kwagga at Loose, and an on form Willie at fullback (Allow Willie his full Attack rights please Meneer Jacques, the current defend-till-you-bleed-from-your-ass system seems to be stifling Willies attack capabilities).That is probably the best attacking Bokke combination we have had in a long time. 4 Fly-half's cum wings playing on one side at the same time, dream come true.Its unacceptable, actually unfair to world rugby at large.) Game was fixed by WRugby official he followed WR instructions to the tee. Their time wil come, NZ official chooses refs at w rugby, rememberBice lorrens 2011. AB cant win without refs help.
Pearce the ref spoke far to much in the game, disicion making was 💩 and he stopped the flow unnecessarily. He turned what could have been an legendary game into a spectacle . Rassie can't say a word much to his frustration. World rugby are pissies.
