- It’s Top Fuel Harley gone wrong as motorcycle drag racer Michael Balch is again reminded why “Nitro is not your friend” when his Nitro Harley explodes off the line at the AHDRA All Harley drag racing event at the South Carolina Motorplex. Man I have crewed drag bikes and been around Top Fuel, Pro Mod for years and never seen a wheel explode like that in my life. I thought maybe it got his goobers blowed off the way he was getting off the bike. Glad to see he was ok. Out side of that it was good hot action. Thanks Jack for another excellent video.

I liked the comradery these people have.
If one breaks down they all pitch in to get them back in the race. They all know the sport well, and each other even better, there must be some great yarns told over a coldie during the evenings, even when spinning the spanners.

Those obsolete Harley V-twins sound like thrashing machines. Parts failure is infinitely common, as I watch a belt come apart, due to oil leaking. Hardly Make-it-son.
