I wish I saw this about 6 hours ago before I tried taking the pulley off and wound up ripping the input shaft out with it. That thing's done for now. Can't even open the trans, it's sealed tight as hell.
Good video here!!! I'm trying to figger out why my craftsman rider won't roll when I put it into neutral!!?? The rear axle isn't frozen at all,,, because when I jacked the rear end of the mower up so both wheels can spin freely,, they both spin easy?!?! BUT, if I try to put one hand on each wheel and try to rotate them both either forward together, or, backwards together... they will not move! If you turn one wheel, let's say, forward, the opposite wheel will turn backwards!!! WTH???
The best way to "fix" this "watch-gear" transmission is to bring it into the Junk-yard ,cash it in for 5 bucks and start a "Wheelhorse" fund.

the two bearings were bad and bearing screw was sized in place
