Thanks for making a video about Dennis. As someone who started following his career already when he was on Hulktastic in early 2016, the fact that you guys made a video about him means a lot to me and I’m sure also to the rest of the overwatch community.

As a german Hulk had a big impact on me playing the game. I remember watching his stream back in 2016 and he played alot of Zarya back in the days before the first World cup. From that day i started to learn Zarya as a hero and fought myself with her to diamond in season 2 and master in season 3. This all due to a person i just knew from the internet and his streams. The "Heroes Never Dies" in the end of the video really poke a hole in my manliness wall. I'm not playing Overwatch (yet) but I think this man will be my reason to play the game.
People dislike the game currently for reasons you will likely never be exposed to considering you'll have to get to level 25 before you can even play comp. Before you even reach that level the balance patch that will change everything will be out. Even if you do no life to level 25 before then, you won't encounter any cancer meta comps because you'll likely be no better than gold(realistically). If the game looks fun to you don't be afraid to get it.

I cried when I found out he died. Legitimately bawled my eyes out when I saw Taimou post about it while I was scrolling my Twitter feed. Weirdly enough I was already rewatching the Rogue vs Envyus season 1 Apex quarter final when o saw the news. I was paused on a still of the envy team on stage, with Dennis in the back, giving his team encouragement when I read the news on my Twitter feed. I was absolutely in shock. Never knew the man but I was as big of a fan as one could be. As a hardcore pro OW fan, I began my time watching the scene during Envyus' hayday when they won APEX and MLG Vegas. I got in during that time of pro overwatch, seeing Envy dominate the triple tank meta. In the same way that Hulk helped built the infrastructure for early pro overwatch with his love and devotion to the game, him and his team he put together built my love for it as an escort. Now years later, I'm watching the game played at the highest level, selling out arena, with major corporate sponsors and huge player salaries. I hope he's up there somewhere watching proudly.
It's so fitting that Mickie won that award too, because in reality Internethulk is the reason he got to live out his dream. At that time the OW pro scene was pretty small and practically nonexistent in Mickie's region, and the likelihood of any other team trying to recruit him was practically nonexistent as well. But Internethulk personally reaching out to Mickie was probably a turning point in his life, and the reason the league's just positive member is in it in the first place.
We miss you Dennis... Every day...
