- Unlike the vast majority of superstars, dev1ce never set out to become the best player; he set out to build the best team.
The irony is that, in achieving the latter - in becoming the figurehead of one of the greatest lineups of all-time - he’s put himself into contention for the former as well.
This is his story.

what i watched = the story of astralis
kinda the same thing, apart from his injury as he was all ways on astralis
device never set out to become #1 player, he always wanted to be part of a #1 team, and that's how Astralis happened. So in a way, both these stories compliment each other.

Man if he's an Asian there's a really high probability his parents will force him to do the badminton career path, even if he's that gifted. I think, until before 2015, eSports isn't something most parents in asia see as a good thing, even as a hobby.
Still, I'm glad he got the privilege to choose and also to commit to it after series of events that happened to him.

Good argument, but in my opinion, niko is still better than him, bcs i think that device is a player that is excellent at his role and that's it, he needs the perfect pieces around him to make it go well, Niko on the other hand, like s1mple is a player that can create magic out of nothing, like he still performs like a god even with the constant changes that happens with faze's roster and his roles, like hes the clear best aimer in the world, great at awping, can igl, deagle god, etc. Like in terms of raw skill niko and s1mple is just miles above of everyone else . Even most of the pros would say either s1mple or niko is the best in the world. It's like when pros are matching up against them, they say in their head ; "oh fuck its niko/s1mple ", then when it comes to facing device they're like ; " oh shit it's astralis" instead of "oh fuck its device", sometimes niko and s1mple constantly do those otherworldly things to bail their team out of a certain situation, which on the other hand device doesn't need to bcs he has other players to always bail him out of a situation. He's still no.3 tho to me :)
