Nicely done. Need to get mine done now.
thx. I just sub'd to your channel. nice build ya got going on there.
as for the glass itself, any auto glass place, like a speedy, or apple auto glass can cut them for you if you bring them your frame.
3 Toe Customs thx buddy, I’m across the bay in NS. Think I’ll try this on my talon
That's the Cat's Ass video.....hahaha.....thanx for sharing Joey as always. Gooder job. 😁
Just made one lastweek for mine basically same steps u did. Did u find the frame flex with the glass , did. u reinforce the tomorrow bottom edge 🤔 . Still debating on how I want to mount it to my rzr xp
that's awesome, with the 1/8" aluminum, I didn't feel that I had to with the way the bottom sat against the machine, so I was good with just the 4 clamps on the sides.
Sweet! I alo went with 1/8 aluminum. We shall see muahaha . Thanks for the reply man!
@@nickparsons263 not a problem, good luck with your windshield project.
Excellent video, got me thinking lol. Mind telling me ballpark cost ? I might try my own
depends if your in canada, or u.s. but glass costs roughly 150$ to have intalled, and a 4'x8' aheet of 1,1/8" ALUMINUM cost me roughly 150$. other pieces were donated to me, but seals can't be much. i also made my roof out of the same sheet of aluminum. so good value.
Deadly job brother ! How thick is that sheet of metal?
1/8" aluminum.
You should sell copies of the template you made.
i thought about it. possibly one day i'll make another to perfect the design, and then offer them.i would like to add wings to the sides to deflect a bit of side wind, but it's otherwise one of my fave add ons.
Do you have a link for the rubber seal on the bottom that you used?
Will see if o can find it. Knew I was forgetting something.
@@3ToeCustoms have any luck finding it?
@@Tpayne621 tried to find a link to the exact seal, but not having much luck. that seal was donated to the build from a fellow member from one of my facebook groups. as soon as I find it, i'll let you know 100%
Did you ever find what kind of seal that was
@@majorskillz6235 The closest thing I could find for a seal, would be on Amazon, they sell straight, and 90 degree bulbed seals, and would need for a 1/8" thick. IF I were to make another one, that is most likely what I would use. I will see if I can find you a link to it.
Looks cheap, but saved you $
nothing cheap about 1/8 " aluminum, and safety glass. hahahahah
