My friend’s class pet snake was stolen and the teacher wrote a very sad message asking whoever did it to give the snake back because it needed to be fed. The teacher also used to sell homemade popsicles or something outside of class to raise money for the snake food, but now they’re not doing it anymore because the snake still hasn’t been returned :( feels bad man
I see a lot of "Angelic Yields" are just videos of vandalism reversed. But there are some who are giving back to the school. I hope the latter picks up
Its been a year but I still remember that my high school was no exception to the wrath of devious licks. During the height of this trend most bathrooms (usually the boys bathroom of course) would literally be closed off for repairs. One kid even straight up ripped a stall door off its hinges and carried it around with him. So you can imagine that its annoying when youre trying to use the bathroom only to find out that half the bathrooms in the building available to you were just locked off. At one point my school even made a PSA related to devious licks, and it was mentioned to not assault members of staff??? I dont remember hearing about kids attacking their teachers, but it wouldnt surprise me given what my school was like.
For all it’s faults, my school handled this extremely well. There was a monitor posted outside the bathroom dooors at all times in the passing period. And both exits had adults and teachers. During pass period, there was always a staff member outside the bathroom doors. Props to them.
At my school before I graduated someone stole the front part of a teachers car, also another crazy thing at my school unrelated to this trend (even tho our school also stole toilets and stuff like that) a girl dyed her hair in the toilet and used the toilet water. Another crazy thing, a janitor was in the girls Locker room ceiling and was fired for it.

UPDATE: kids are starting to post "angelic yields" now, where theyre putting luxury hygene products in the bathrooms and fixing them up. im genuinely not kidding, theres a tiktok where a guy put Dove barsoap next to every sink, one returning the soap dispensers they stole and even one where they helped a teacher replace the stuff stolen in his class.

This trend literally ruined my school. Students were causing so much damage that much of it had to be closed down. I'm talking doors broken down, thousands of dollar printers smashed apart , and all sorts of disgusting items missing from restrooms. All of this occurred over the span of maybe 4 days or so, and while granted it has calmed down since then, it's still really sad. I remember after school one day I heard two teachers in the hallway just saying that they "weren't mad, just disappointed with and worried about" our generation. Really couldn't have said it better myself. Thanks for covering this problem, I think one of the best ways to stop these trends is by having responsible influencers telling these kids that it isn't cool or ok.

When I was in high school, long before tik tok existed, there was a trend among the "cool" kids at my school that involved jumping off the third story of the main building to try and land in a bush on the edge of the quad. Apparently you had to do it just right, because too far to either side and you'd land on concrete, too far forward and you'd hit a metal rail or some concrete stairs. And the bush in question wasn't made of pillows either, it was just some thorny ground cover to hide the dirt patch there. Plenty of kids got seriously hurt doing this, and eventually the bush was removed and that spot filled in with more concrete to deter this challenge. Back then, I always assumed my school was just full of dumbasses, but tik tok has shown me that bad decisions and pointless clout are a universal form of dumbassery.

My school closed toilets for the whole year because someone stole a toilet. Had a lecture in assembly about the cleaners walking in to find 6 inches of water flooding the floor
This trend literally ruined my school. Students were causing so much damage that much of it had to be closed down. I'm talking doors broken down, thousands of dollar printers smashed apart , and all sorts of disgusting items missing from restrooms. All of this occurred over the span of maybe 4 days or so, and while granted it has calmed down since then, it's still really sad. I remember after school one day I heard two teachers in the hallway just saying that they "weren't mad, just disappointed with and worried about" our generation. Really couldn't have said it better myself. Thanks for covering this problem, I think one of the best ways to stop these trends is by having responsible influencers telling these kids that it isn't cool or ok.

When I was in high school, long before tik tok existed, there was a trend among the "cool" kids at my school that involved jumping off the third story of the main building to try and land in a bush on the edge of the quad. Apparently you had to do it just right, because too far to either side and you'd land on concrete, too far forward and you'd hit a metal rail or some concrete stairs. And the bush in question wasn't made of pillows either, it was just some thorny ground cover to hide the dirt patch there. Plenty of kids got seriously hurt doing this, and eventually the bush was removed and that spot filled in with more concrete to deter this challenge.
Back then, I always assumed my school was just full of dumbasses, but tik tok has shown me that bad decisions and pointless clout are a universal form of dumbassery.
