Cool video. I remember way back in the day crewing in SCCA and tuning our CRXs we had to run stock computers but could run cam gears and we would spend half the day tweaking those things out for higher torque curves. Thanks for bring back the memories.
Every time I'm watching the CRX videos I regret that I sold mine. But you inspired me to rebuild my shifter. You will not believe, but it is a garage stored car with no rain drives over the last 12 years and the foam and the booth were in great condition. Thx for all the inspiration and the videos you are making. You and George are one of a kind mechanics . I've never met such passioned people like you. If the ocean wouldn't be in the way you were the only people I would give my s2000 to. Keep on with the good work.
Thanks for the kind words. We are passionate about this stuff, we’re glad that it inspires people to work on their cars too. Cars are one of those things that bring us all together, doesn’t matter you color, creed or background, cars blend the passion.
0:12 If it were a track only car, I'd lower it as much as possible. Since it's mainly a street, I'd leave it at that height, even height front and back, and put big sway bars under it. There too many dips, bumps, potholes, etc to be wasting time with slowing down at, etc. 0:30 😍It's beautiful. 1:40 I'm glad that it doesn't have a lot of damage. There's a lot of used vehicles that have a lot of body damage. 2:14 😍I love those factory splash guards. 10:00 I'm looking forward to the results of those dirty tire sidewalls getting detailed. 😍Those Kosei wheels are beautiful. I almost bought some of those, but I bought Enkei's instead. 10:42 Layers of soot on the tail pipe is ugly, and not easy to clean. I've never put a few layers of ceramic coating on a new tail pipe, but I think that it's a good idea, and recommend it. Hopefully with the coating, all the soot will easily be washed, rinsed off, and clean again. 12:07 A dual exhaust pipe is okay, but I think that a oval exhaust pipe is the best option.
I recently had to change the original fuel pump on my 91 Civic. Was giving me a hiccup in power every now and then… Much better now, plus I’m getting a little bit better MPG (40+) out of the car now too.
I'm definitely inspired brother I hope to see you guys soon. I Wana join you guys in my ef wagon. Everything I see you doing to the crx I Wana do to the wagon. The attention to detail in the exhaust is amazing. The muffler shop I went to just threw it on and it looks hideous.
Normally I love your taste but the dual exhaust tip would have looked fantastic. I also think a set of brand new em1 sir wheels (still available at honda) would look beautiful on this car :)
I’m somewhat creating what I had in 1998 ( but without the supercharger). Hence the K1 wheels, the shiny muffler in the back etc. kinda of a OEM Plus, if I was building a ‘stock Build’ I’d go with dual tips and black muffler.
Uh, quick question. In the beginning of the video when you are "adjusting the suspension" it appears that you are loosening the spring preload instead of "screwing" the shock body into the lower shock mount (which would decrease the over all length of the coilover thus lowering the vehicle). Am I seeing this incorrectly, or is the type of coilover you have not have a threaded shock body that threads into the lower part of the shock.
You are seeing correct, there as Tein Basic coil overs. The only adjustment is the one set of rings. Similar to how the older Ground Control sleeves works.
The time spent fiddling and fettling with the exhaust tip exemplifies what you guys are all about, LHT TLC OCD 😁. Great work guys 👍👍.
The movie was bad ass one of the best movie ever!
We really liked it.

Cam gears are time consuming, but when worth it when you’re not starting with much.
We need more of these CRX’s back on the road, loving the build👍👍
I really appreciate your attention to details. Thanks buddy.😁

Crx looks awesome

Loved the Jurassic Park Piano :o)
It was a last minute thing so I don’t get flagged from YT. Lol.
Is this the polar white color code?..tastefully low is the perfect ride height.
love it!
Thanks Mark 👍🏻
@17:30 Hondata S3000? Is this the new one where you can tune the car just with the power of your mind :D
Why is the spacing above the passenger's tires larger than the driver's side at 00:52 , when George is sitting in the car?
I thought that would be pretty obvious 🤔
L H T 🙌 " YO"
S2000 injectors bolt right in?
Just need to use spacers for the rail.
@@LHTPerformance do you guys sell the part or know where to get it?
@@TshuajCL9 We don’t, we made it as we installed them.
@@LHTPerformance I see. Always keep hearing u guys do s2000 injectors for the bseries build. Any benefits for them over stock bseries?
@@TshuajCL9 They are around 40% more capacity, OEM injectors and plentiful.
wish i could go to you for tuning but i live in pennsylvania. any good honda specific shops near me?
I don’t know anyone up near there. I would search around and find someone with knowledge and years in the business. Avoid the dyno hero
Ufffff 🔥
Nice work! I need to get the fuel pump and connector for sure. Any links?
Remind me before the Dragon meet and I’ll bring you one Seth.
Trying to get my k24a2 s2k fully dialed for that meet!
Awesome! Should be a great meet. Not looking forward to driving the CRX for 10+ hours there. Lol.
Now im gonna tell everyone to go watch your segment on a goofy tip 😂
Lol.
A CRX just sold on BAT today for $40,000 USD !
Dam no dual tip........
Just don't look right
You ever seen the UK CRX Vti ?
Her husband should order a banana stand! 😆
Lol. He should.
Please remove the paint from the outside door handles.
They came color matched from Honda. They are the rear door handles for a civic ex. Notice there’s no key ? Also has factory Honda power door locks.
Hm
Don't park in the drive way
Same ride height as mine... see my recent video
