My husband and I met in high school in 1982, we were high school sweethearts. We had 4 children together in those few early years of our relationship. Unfortunately we broke up for reasons neither one of us can explain 😅. We had little to no contact with one another for over 20 years. In 2015 an Unfortunate event happened in his life, and I still to this day say that it was by fate and the grace of God that we reconnected. We got married in 2022 with our grown kids and our grandkids by our side. The fact that he was married to another woman for so many years, they never had children together. Long story short, this was the song we had our first dance at our wedding reception. We were made to love each other ❤❤❤

This song was part of my wedding. Beautiful song, awesome voice! I miss Gerald and his voice. When I heard he passed I was on my way home from work and just drove around listening to his music with tears in my eyes. Gerald and Luther were two of the most powerful singers of our time. Their ballads and voices will live forever. RIP
