She really doesn't even sound like this anymore, her voice tone is much deeper & a lil' raspier now than it was throughout the 90's...she's grown vocally so much but she still sounded amazing even with yesteryear's juvenile tone. Brandy could always sing. Makes me wonder how Aaliyah would sound by now because she was growing vocally a lot too herself by the time she got to her last album. And it was really nothing but Aaliyah, Monica & Brandy who reigned the 90's R&B charts anyway.

I feel so guilty that when Brandy came out and was at the height of her popularity, I "wrote her off" because she couldn't sing like Whitney, Celine or Mariah.
