Just sitting here at 5:06 AM as I listen to G.L. and reminisce on the G.O.D.(Good Old Days)! It really saddens my heart that people like G.L. and other young talented artist just seemingly left this earth tooo soon. He was truly an inspiration to many and will forever be missed. I have a 16 and 20 years old daughter and whenever I am listening to music of this caliber, I always tells them....."this is when Music was Music" they just don't make it like this anymore!!! The 10th of this month marked 15 years since Gerald's sudden death. God looked behind door #1 and saw he had the job done then he looked behind door #2 and had something even more special for you, then he looked behind door #3 and saw that you fulfilled all of your fantasies...then he chose you because he knew either way he would not lose. Continue to rest in peace my brother!!!
He is showing us in a very beautiful way what it means to love someone. That you do it whole heartedly. Giving your wholeself completely to the one you love. It is quite unfortunate that when men give themselves away like this in many instances end up with broken hearts and wounded souls.
