@@squairdplans True, they ask for a lot, but the squad gets merch that sells out quickly and is then never restocked, like black metal discs. You'd also have to switch back to up planners for the year. Your stuff suits you better. Can we say neutral?😉
I wish HP would put the currently page on the back of the monthly with an offsetting notes page. That way it’s with the month it goes with. Makes frankenplanning easier. And it’s really in the month it relates to. I think it’s weird to be before it and really attached to the previous month.
Ordered the 8.5 x 11 from your shop yesterday, since all of my homeschool material is this size. Love how easy it is to print and how neutral it all is. I created a transformer planner with the following in my planning section one month at a time. The quadrant combined for to do's, the hourly weeklies for time blocking, and the vertical weeklies for memory/pretty planning. Then I have my faith and homeschool sections. This stays at home so the size is no concern. 😁
The Happy Notes cover(s) you’re using for your 2021 frankenplanner is a favorite of mine too. So much so that I’m using the same one for the budget planner I’m creating for this year! 😊 I got mine about 2 years ago; I think it was the first Happy Planner product I bought. 😊 Also, I loved watching your planner organization process! Way to go, Stephanie! I, in contrast, pulled the pages I needed for January and now can't find them. Grrr! I'm using a beautiful floral dashboard planner, but I feel about the dashboard layout the way you do about the vertical layout. It's motivation for me to organize some paperwork. I bought the staples disk as well and I have to say they are not as smooth as HP.😔 but they were cheaper. Have to tell you I love your quadrant layout! I got the Big and I Love the space for verse writing and notes👏🏻👏🏻
I haven't had a major issue with the smoothness of the discs, though I noticed that the bigger the disc size, the harder it is to turn large groups of pages. I don't think that is unique to the discs since I also struggle to close my recipe binder which is on hp expander discs. Also thanks for the positive feedback on the quad!
Using the photo pockets is GENIUS! I normally have to use tombo to tape my pages together. Do they stay rest well with the pockets? If so, I’m gonna go pick some up!

@@squairdplans I wish Happy Planner would get past the mentality of discontinuing accessories after a short period of time and not making enough to meet demand. Like black metal discs. So few people were able to order that package, they didn't restock it, and they're missing out on some serious sales. The cover you're using is still on their website, but it's been sold out for at least a year, and I doubt they intend to ever restock it. Intentional scarcity seems like a poor business model to me, especially when they give away so much product to the squad, so they can basically advertise it. It's frustrating.

So I use classic sized planners...Big are roughly to A4/Letter sized. And Happy planner usually does an academic release in the spring (18-month planners or July-June) around April and then the full year planners in Sept-Oct.

Personally, I think the currently should go in the front...shows what you are CURRENTLY doing for the upcoming month. If you put it in the back, it is PAST/END not currently....LOL
I get that. It is just that it is always linked to back of a spread in the happy planner. Would love to have a buffer page/spread between the last weekly spread and the currently page for us frankenplanners.

they stay well but note they stick out slightly from the page to fit.

@@maggiem1404 just to 2 outer corners is enough. I have done all 4 corners but it didn’t make that big of a difference.

They are called pocket pages and they are from the happy planner. The ones shown are the classic size but they are hard to find.
