beautiful tying. Can you explain why so many wings? I have trouble enough placing one set. Unfortunately, due to the depth perception I may have to watch this several times to see the setting of the wings again. Thanks for sharing and best wishes, Sean
+Sean Mooney, I make 3 wings, to make a stabile wing that keep the shape after have been fishing with. With only one wing, the fibers will just collapse, as the fibers are soft as fur. The result is that the fly is going to turn over and not swim straight. Use saliva to compress the tying point. The will also keep the fibers together..
After having seen this, I actually think that there is a chance that I can get thát roofed bronche mallard to look like a roofed bronche mallard, thanks....;- )
You should try developing a technique before posting such an amateurish mess. Would have been nice to see a good tie. A good place to start would be study the construction of Spey and Dee flies!
Beautiful fly. Exceptionally well tied! 👍👍

Hi Long, that hook used ? It is a Mustad 80500 ?
+Cristobal Colon Yes it is. Im going to test out the new partridge hooks for salmon flies now, they look really good.

Maybe you can teach me about flytying? I could use some advice.
