Jesus, why is this channel only at 900 subs. The production quality is great and the tips are awesome for other documentary filmmakers such as myself. Good stuff
Thanks Lynn! I appreciate it, to be honest I’m not really sure why the channel isn’t doing better lol. Maybe it just takes time🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for the compliment and let me know if you ever have any questions?
I just finished my TH-cam channel trailer, with inspiration from this video. It's a cooking channel, and I used the dramatic approach. I'm a novice, but I was happy with how it turned out. I'm saving up for some lights which would have made it so much better. Thanks so much for this video.
Thank you Alex! Priceless information. So precise and helpful. I seriously can't thank you enough. It just took me 10 years to finish a full length documentary film (my passion project) and with this short video of yours, I am hoping I can create a trailer in much less time... LOL :). Cheers, Eve
Damn that’s so awesome to hear man. I’m happy it helps! If you ever have any questions or just wanna talk about filmmaking in general hit me up brother🙏🏻
Very well done! But this is for a very specific kind of documentary, if your doc is more verite, slice of life, e.g. Grey Gardens (or the type of film i'm working on) - it would probably need to take a different approach. Any suggestions on that?
There’s no one size fits all, most of my projects tend to bit a bit on the dramatic and intense side lol 😂 send me a link to something and I could give you my advice.
Really old job Alex 👍🏻 I think we both think very very similar 💪🏼 what is the name of the font from your „Alex Zarfati“ at the end? Absolutely top my friend 👏
Seriously, this needs more views. Super well put together, clear and entertaining as well...THANK YOU!!
Thanks Jackie, I appreciate it🙏🏻 if you ever have any questions please feel free to reach out!
I'm making a mockumentary for a college project and this was extremely helpful man

the UFO doc You did the trailer for, What was that doc called? it looks so good.
That trailer was part of a pitch to a film that ended up never getting funded
