Well to be fair, Spoiler but I won't say what it is. They did have 1 item that was left over and survived the thousands of years, and that item is the reason why there so advanced and progressed as getting it would be almost impossible.
I liked the whole confusion when Lee said "us" 😂 the duality of rooting for the main group (Japan) against the group of your actually country LoL but i did get what he meant when he said it
Gen was picking someone who would take a hit for senku. Taiju is tough and endless stamina, and senku's best most trusted friend. If anyone in the group wouldn't get mad at gen for being made a target instead of senku it would be taiju. Also the soldier guy already saw tsukasa, and knows he's a skilled warrior, if his description is given I'm sure the soldier would question, he's the toughest looking fighter and your scientist? Sus
The Americans could’ve had two specific advantages Senku didn’t. The war with Tsukasa took up a lot of time, and even though it had something they desperately needed, the island gave them a lot of trouble too. If the Americans didn’t have such troublesome obstacles, they could gather all the materials they needed to advance as far as they have here, especially if everyone understood that they were all in this together sooner rather than later. United we stand 🇺🇸
@Ebyruchan i think so maybe taiju is closer as his friend and tsukasa is closer in terms of understanding senku's intellect. Also by making Xeno believe that Taiju is the scientific leader, it might trick them into underestimating the Kingdom of Science.
I aint gon lie I love Taiju and Gen but even when Gen said Taiju I was like we're screwed if Xeno or Stanley tries to fight Taiju based on scientific knowledge I also personally would have said Tsukasa but choosing Taiju makes alot of sense for all the reasons you mentioned.
