For anyone who wants to get out of the sandbox, I got approved on the first try. Make sure you answer exactly, in correct English, and not too short or too long (few paragraphs should be sufficient) all the questions that are suggested in the little question mark next to the description box. They clearly tell you what information they want to hear from you, and I'm sure they use this description as a filter for people who actually take the time to read it and answer it properly. I copied and pasted the three questions "what will you use it for", "What will you do when the email bounces" etc, and answered it clearly and concisely. Put yourself in the shoes of Amazon SES. What do they want to read? That you will not abuse their systems. They don't want complaints and have their reputation as email sending service compromised. So give them everything they want to hear. Double opt-in, no use of no-reply, unsubscribe link under each email, how emails are collected, etc etc. I also had my domains verified in advance, and these domains host reputable sites that contain address info, phone numbers, positive google reviews, etc. Make sure your verified domains are reputable sites. Good luck!

I tried to add Amazon SMTP but its showing error that credentials incorrect but I am using the same credentials which I use to login my aws amazon account. That's not the password you should use. Please watch the video where I showed you how to download SMTP credentials (username and password) for your AWS SES account.

Example: If you have connected xyz.com, then you can have alex@xyz.com or anyusername@xyz.com. Amazon SES does recognize your domain, so it doesn't need you to create a sender address externally. In GrowMeOrganic, you can put any sender's address ensuring it is using the connected domain in SES.

@@heena5448 You don't have to worry about that. It's not like an option, it's more like telling Amazon what you want to do with SES. However, you can send marketing and transactional emails after you get approved.
@@dwarfton513 write an detailed message and include following information: 1. What you do and why you want to use the mail service. 2. What kind of emails you are planning to send, marketing or transactional, (amazon doesn't allow cold email outreach) and how often. 3. How you collect the email addresses you are going to send mails to. You should confirm that you only send emails to people, that have subscribed per double opt in or to customers. 4. Name the options users have to opt out. You should always put an unsubscribe option at the bottom/footer of your mail. 5. How you handle bounces or complaints. You should check all bounces or complaints frequently, find out what caused the error and remove them from your list. And of course you should provide a quality website, so they can check that you are doing serious business. Good luck 🤞

It's not required, you can set your reply-to email as your existing email to get all the replies.
