So instead w are trying to get Crontab to run to make us be compliant with AWS Amazon's 5 per second rule. And of course we have an event coming up where we want to send out a mass mailing... When we used VPS.net this was much easeir to set up because we were not dealing with this rule. Would you consider working with CiviCRM to make this process a little easier for all of us?

My dashboard looks nothing like the ones I have seen in your videos. I can't find the request production access. I can find "request sending limit increase" but did not know if this is the same thing, as it has different questions. Maybe the pages have changed since this video was made?

I can help you. Try TLSWrap for windows and unix. Try compiling on your EC2 and follow their install instructions. If your still having problems. I would try using Redhat Linux 7.1 32bit or Debian 2.2 or windows xp 32bit on a EC2 service then try installing your wrapper. There is a Amazon doc for StartTTL - amazon/ses/latest/DeveloperGuide/postfix You should be able to just use a Ec2 instance as a webmail service and not use Amazon SES.

Many small low-income non profits use Drupal based CiviCRM Civimail module. Finding a volunteer or or paying for a IT consultant to implement this AWS SES simple email service is cost prohibitive. We have had to have a volunteer install a separate EC2 instance then an ubuntu server, then install postfix and at this point we don't know how to install a TLS wrapper.
