The air you breath is 78% nitrogen. So that means the air you pump into your tires with a regular compressor is putting in almost 80% nitrogen for free. Unless you are running a race car on a track there is virtually no advantage to spending money to fill your tires with 100% nitrogen.
DAVID MUISE I disagree. Nitrogen is much better in your tires for those of us who live in temperature swinging climates. When the temp swings during season changes I can guarantee you that you’ll have to add 5-10lbs of compressed air to compensate. I have nitrogen in my tires for two years now and I’ve never had to add air during the year ... also use nitrogen in the wife’s car too, which eliminates the dreaded text from her saying a dash light is on and has no clue why. Lol
@@Rudderify nitrogen isn't hydraulic fluid. nitrogen compresses as does pretty much any other gas and listing the gas amount in pounds is irrelevant as it will be a negligible difference in overall weight.

Even the YT engine ninjas know that Magnum and HEMI engines are not very tunable. You need a lot of money to make those engines powerful. Ford and GM engines are much better.
Yes... but they have superchargers on them. Put a supercharger on a properly build 440 or second generation Hemi and you can accomplish the same thing. Maybe even better. I know the bottom end will be way stronger than all the late model small blocks. There is NOTHING stronger than a RB Block bottom end out there.
For sure...why would you want one of the best most reliable engines on the planet for a fraction of the cost of anything else comparable that has the largest supply of aftermarket parts...

That big-block engine is worth more than the truck. A blown, 8-71 540inch with cast iron block and alloy head would have made close to 1,000 for under $20K. This engine cost $30K+

Stacy getting 400hp out of a 5.7l Hemi is a piece of cake, they don't explode at 400hp... maybe you are thinking 500/600hp. Also BB mopars don't push oil up these push-rods they get the oil through the rocker shaft. Does the Indy block/heads get rid of the stock type shaft oiling system? Cheers!
The 5.7L HEMIs are horrible cam-eating engines. They were a poor copy of the LS series. Just one of the many reasons I stay away from Chrysler-made junk.

I wish more aftermarket suppliers would support the nailheads more and come up with some aluminum heads and intakes,I believe I have seen one person making roller rockers for them but not much in the way of power parts for those motors!!

I'm sure the company that does the brake rotor conversion can sell you new converted brake rotors whenever you need them. However, there are times where a performance parts company goes out of business, and the custom parts are no longer serviceable.

Stacy had left PN, spent quite some time getting most of the project vehicles from PN's production company. when he went over to Gearz, started building SR again. Gearz production company changed hands again, couldnt find a network to air Gearz. thats why took so long to actually finish SR instead of just abandoning it like many of the projects on other shows

I know this is like 15 years old, but dude...come on. 7.3 Powerstrokes were all over the place back then. Even a 6.5 Detroit Diesel with a bigger turbo, 18:1 pistons and an intercooler would have been a better choice.

Big block mopar doesn’t oil the rockers from the pushrods. It has oil passages in the head.

You could have gone with a Cummins 4BT, that would have been a great choice. However I would have loved the old Flathead kept in there.

So the engine was introduced in the show to to the public in 2007 but re introduced in gearz years later and completly finished in 2019

This was the last season for Stacey David, so yes 2005. I doubt it was mini DV though just non HD broadcast equipment.
Guilherme Luís plus the “modern hemi” they showed was a 2003- 2009 model so 2005 looks about right.
Monster trucks use pinion brakes and lock the tires up.... Think they work pretty good.....
