This is exactly the video I needed!!! I’ve been looking through my lipstick collection, and realizing I need more fall colors. I’m especially looking forward to the berries and nudes parts of this series. I’m fair and super cool toned so I’ve shied away from the traditional fall colors of burnt oranges and warm browns. Loved seeing some of the cooler toned options - your swatches and descriptions of color and tone are always the best. Thank you, Lexi - can’t wait for parts 2 and 3!!! Then it will be decision time!

Lexi, you excel! I love the Chanel nude brun liner too. It’s perfect with just Chantecaille lip potion. This is darker than I normally wear but so perfectly natural bumped up that I think I might wear this to wedding events. Looking forward to the nudes discussion especially. Hi Lexi! Hope you and your family are doing well :) I am so happy I picked up the Guerlain rouge g 1830 in both finishes. I have never owned a lipstick in this colour. LOVE lipstick! I’m going to try adding dimension with lip liners. I tend to avoid warmer tones, but the right liner could possibly change that. You look great in all of them. I love Dries Van Noten Sheer 05. Burberry Kisses 111 is also beautiful. I don’t have any of these, but who knows.🤷♀️ I cannot wait to see more Lippies! Thanks for this wonderful video.

That’s a lot of discipline and dedication. I wish I could stick to at least putting something on after I remove what I have on.
Would you do a favorite nail polishes for the season video too? I think I like nail polish more than I like lipstick, because I have thin aging lips. Literally I have 4 lip liners, several phyto lip twists, and a couple of Chanel long lasting duo lipstick/gloss, I know you don’t like those, I like them because they stay on my thin lips. I want to get a lipstick for fall, but that would be good for all year as well, in pink/mauve. I can’t wait for your favorites in that range.
I switch nail polish every few days because I am really rough on my nails. As soon as they start chipping, I remove my polish and repaint. Because I change them so frequently, I don't always do a lot of nail cleanup because it just takes too much time. I usually paint them and then very carefully respond to youtube comments as they dry. My daughters love nail polish so we have a ton! I have to admit it was really hard to keep it at 12 for the rosy/mauvey/nude section!

I love lipsticks, too, though I’m not particularly daring in color choices. My lips are darkly pigmented, so lighter shades don’t do well on me. My lips are also dry and I’m one of those people who apply a clear balm as part of my skin prep. Unfortunately, although I like the look, I haven’t been able to find a matte formula that isn’t additionally drying, including Suqqu, Cle de
Eau and Dries van Noten. It takes a lot of extra effort to wear mattes, including reapplying a clear balm or gloss over the color. While I will finish what I have, I have to wonder why the manufacturers continue to produce products that need more “stuff” to perform well. Your video has given me some great ideas for new colors to try. Thanks!
I think it is really hard to find a matte that is not drying at all since they all utilize what are essentially powder pigments in them. Did you try the new cle de peau mattes? I find them much more hydrating than the previous formula personally. The Givenchy le rouge deep velvets are the most comfortable ones on me. Have you tried using a matte lip balm on top of a lipstick to give you a more matte appearance while still using the formula of your choice? I haven't tried it but I wonder if you blot your favorite lipstick and then top it with a matte balm, it might be a nice option. I am sure it won't be as matte looking but now I am curious. I think I will test that out!

I keep mine organized by brand too. Sometimes it can be easy to forget about one that way though so maybe I should switch it up.
I loved this video, thanks, Lexi! Givenchy rouge brique is in my autumn red edit and am wearing it today - great minds... Slightly surprisingly, that and the Rouge G were our only overlap! I have Gucci Goldie Red in the sheer voile and the metallic formulas, Bobbi Brown Desert Sun, Suqqu moisture rich 118 (glittery warm red), Dior Rouge capucine from last year, Armani lip power in Sultan but.. a glittery version! Oh you have some shades that I don't own! I was actually going to include that SUQQU but didn't since it is limited edition and I couldn't find it available. It's a really great choice and I love their moisture rich formula personally. Have a great day Helen!

@@LexiJong Bad luck, no Cle de Peau and the Armani sold out. However I'm more than happy with my Guerlain 1830 matte 🧡 as of now it's been applied over my lipbalm, had sushi with it and after 5 hrs of wear, it's still perfect! Not to mention I got lucky here, and got to have a limited edition lipstick case - one of the butterfly wings : )

So excited to watch this, because fall colors are definitely my favorite but also because I'm looking for a rusty sort of burnt orange-red lipstick, so this video is so perfect! I struggle with these shades because I do have a cooler very fair complexion with redness and I feel sometimes certain orange shades make my skin look not so great, it's like they bring out the worst or least flattering colors in my skin😅also very bright reds I feel don't suit me, for example, Guerlain Roi des Rouges definitely is not my color, Rouge Impérial is much better. My dream would be Guerlain's Rouge du Tigre, but unfortunately, I can't get this one :( so I'm trying to decide between Lisa Eldridge's Velvet Dragon (I have Cinnabar and I love it, but it is quite dark on me) or Gucci's Janet Rust. The new Hermès lipsticks also look stunning & so sophisticated, especially Rouge Cinabre & Rouge Feu, and of course the Dries Van Noten lipsticks are definitely on my wishlist. I really hope Guerlain ends up making the legendary reds a permanent collection. Rouge du Tigre is so beautiful! I have Velvet Dragon and it is a brighter orange on me than these. I don't really love it on me - i think it is better for warmer skintones personally. I don't have Janet Rust but that looks like it would be more similar to the hermes rouge cinabre from photos online. I definitely need to check out the DVN lipsticks in the orangey tones - they may have something more similar to the Guerlain.

I am a bit hesitant about Velvet Dragon precisely because of that, and with Janet Rust, I'm not sure if it's as orange as Rouge du Tigre but it's interesting what you say about how it might be similar to the Hermès one, when Rouge Cinabre arrives I will definitely compare them in store. I think perhaps I'll have to keep on searching for my perfect orange shade, hopefully, Guerlain will include the legendary reds in their permanent collection. Hope you're well!

@@LexiJong thanks for letting me know. I have most of Lisa's liners but I find Cinnabar to be a bit dark for me. I bought Dragon so I can just use that. I feel like the liners look kind of similar, with Dragon just being the lighter version.

Not in this color set but I have some in the berries and nudes. Edited to say, I don't have any orangey-toned Byredo lipsticks and the red I have is more holiday to me.
