    I do not think Samsung wants you to scan broadcast tv. If it there I cannot find it. My new tv does not have these menu options

      Hmm, that's odd! 🤔 Samsung TVs usually have the option to scan for broadcast channels. Have you tried going to Settings > Broadcasting > Auto Program? If you can't find it, maybe double-checking the TV's manual or contacting Samsung support could help. Hope you find that option soon!

      My Samsung TV is several years old and it USED TO let me scan for channels. Now, I don’t have that option because I’ve lost several channels I watch everyday. Why I lost them? I don’t know.

      @@hifiaudios8101 OK , I figured it out. You do not select on screen "settings". That is the rat hole I went down. You use the settings button on the remote which takes you to broadcast ......and you can scan for channels.

    Fund your video and was excited to try my new antenna ( I know it's not as advertised but I give it a go anyway) but I get stuck on the fist step lol, I go to setting and broadcasting but it's in light color and message saying this fonction isn't available so I can't input my channels in, I guess I didn't pay enough money for my Samsung 5 série, it's desapointing because I was trying to set it up to have some channel on camping or hunting trip, too bad. '( Thanks anyway for your video.') I notice the newest Samsung tv have Samsung tv plus and broadcast in grey so you can't even if you have the coaxial cable or antenna input in the back, will try with another brand simple tv it might work.

      Sometimes, the "Broadcasting" option gets greyed out because the TV recognizes it's not connected to a source that allows broadcasting, like your antenna. Just a quick tip, maybe double-check if your TV's location setting is correct and matches your current region. That sometimes helps clear up these kinds of issues. If that doesn’t work, reaching out to Samsung support might be your best bet, as frustrating as that can be.

    How can I watch the channels after they are scanned . What do I go to or click on

    • @hifiaudios8101
      @hifiaudios8101  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there! After scanning, just go to your TV's main menu and select "TV" or "Live TV" depending on your model. Then use the channel up or down buttons on your remote to browse through the channels.

    If I already have satellite programed can I scan for air without loseing my satellite channels

      @hifiaudios8101  27 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yep, you can totally scan for over-the-air channels without losing your satellite setup. Just go through the scan for the air channels like the video shows, and it shouldn’t mess with your satellite channels.

    I’m from uk and literally just want the normal 1 to whatever freebies channels you get but I’ve connect an aerial and I cannot seem to find any channels l, but I get the 175 Samsung tv channels which is like American tv

    • @hifiaudios8101
      @hifiaudios8101  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      If you’ve already hooked up your aerial and still aren’t picking up the usual UK channels, you might want to double check a couple things. First, make sure your aerial is properly aligned and working right. Sometimes, rescanning for channels a few times can also help. And if you keep getting those Samsung TV channels, maybe your TV settings are set to a different region? Double check that too, and switch it to UK if it’s not.

    I fund how to get the greyed out broadcasting to work on Samsung, took me some time because no help from Samsung lol still waiting on them, so just go to source and select tv plus and once you're there press setting lol, that's it it's gone be working and you can input your channels and after you can press guide and they gone be there, I solve the grey out broadcast and after press start they ask for cable or air, my problem now it doesn't save my air channels lol just the 147 Samsung channels, I'll come back when I solve this but I'm guessing my antenna the problem, I hope this help, good luck.

      thanks for sharing this! Seems like you figured out quite a bit on your own, huh? 😄 About the issue with saving air channels, it does sound like it might be your antenna. Maybe try adjusting its position or checking if it's compatible with your TV settings? Keep us updated if you find a fix, good luck!

      @@hifiaudios8101 Yep, I like to figured things out or it simply bug me so much that I don't have to much choice. 😅 I was thinking the antenna too maybe not even working but I will try another simple old model, maybe you can tell me what is this, I have this when the scan is done.
      DTV AIR 0
      Air. 0
      TV PLUS 147
      I know I have my channels on the tv plus but the DTV air might be my problem, they ask before scan cable or air or both so I will try all of them, could be that if I'm lucky lol.

    What do you do if Broaching is greyed out?

    • @hifiaudios8101
      @hifiaudios8101  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the "Broadcasting" option is greyed out, it could be that your TV is in the wrong source mode. Try switching to "TV" mode instead of HDMI or something else

    My smart TV show no programme in the channels. How do I get the programme in the channels or TV guide

    • @hifiaudios8101
      @hifiaudios8101  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If your TV isn't showing any programs, you might need to rescan for channels. Just go into your TV’s settings, look for something like "broadcasting" or "channel setup," and choose the option to scan or auto-tune. Make sure your antenna or cable is hooked up right before you start the scan. Sometimes it takes a few tries to catch all the channels.
