    Swans M10 I got it at SGD88. The sound is worth at least SGD500. Very bassy and clear, sounded like a very good audiophile bass. Vocal wise it won't shout like Audiophile, but it's more than good enough. I paired it with a good DA. For voice get the 200 and above.

    Thanks for the honest and balanced review. I appreciate you telling it straight. Because I am low on desk space and already have nice headphones for audiophile listening I decided to pass and go with something more high volume and bassy. I'll look at the Logitech model and others.

    Bro..sorry for misunderstanding i don't know its wooden..any way i want to know then which is better in between f&d and this in all departmant...like bass. clear sound when i play higher level.and most important value for money in this two brands

    • @TechReflex
      @TechReflex  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is the best value for money. If you're serious about speakers, then don't buy one which doesn't have tweeters, without tweeters there's no clarity in the highs, which really makes a difference. Wood doesn't affect the sound that much, the quality of drivers is way more important. This won't have as much bass as those cheap speakers, but what it has is a very high quality and balanced bass. Check out the reviews on Amazon India and Amazon US and you'll hardly find anyone being disappointed with these. Also, F&D is not even a serious audio brand, while Swans has great presence and is respected worldwide amongst audiophiles.

    hi man i brought these based on your reviews i dunno if its my unit the subs make a weird humming noise at certain low end frequencies do you have the same problem? it mostly happens during tool songs especially right in two should i replace them ?

    • @TechReflex
      @TechReflex  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, it does make some extra noise in certain songs if you have them at high volume. If it is happening in a track that you'd normally listen to at its usual volume of listening, you could consider replacing it. For me, it never made extra noises in general use, only when I pushed it very high in volume on tracks like The XX - Sunset

    I have a Panasonic TV which has both 3.5 mm audio port and a coaxial digital audio port.
    Shall I buy fiio D03K to connect it to coaxial port?
    Will there be any improvement in sound quality over plugging it directly to 3.5 mm port.
    Also I have FiiO E10k. can I use it in the above case or do I have to buy D03K?
    Please reply

      Yeah d03k will definitely sound better than TV. it sounded almost as good as E10K to my ears. You can't use E10K as it doesn't have coax input, the coax port on it is an output.

      @@maverickmau9940 It's not worth upgrading to a new speaker unless you are at least spending double of Swans m10. I upgraded to Mackie CR5, which is a 2.0 system, and in pretty happy with it, but you can also go for Swans own higher end speakers like m50w.

    Is the M10 good for a small room just to listening some rap music on my pc ? Whats about deep bass on the M10 ? I dont expect heavy bass which will make my house vibrate but still want a bit deep bass to feel it when i'm listening rap music like 21 savage xD
    Thx for that amazing review

    • @TechReflex
      @TechReflex  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks, it is perfect for that. In fact, in small rooms, you can face issues with large driver speakers and cause bass cancellation. So this one is perfect, also goes more than low enough for rap.

      As I mentioned in the review, it's head-fi.org. link to the Swan m10 page here: www.head-fi.org/showcase/swan-m10.12363/
      However, the rating isn't as relevant now, as they've also included Bluetooth speakers. The #1 speaker was a Klipsch speaker which cost $500. Again, these are of course not the 2nd best PC speaker ever, just a VERY good speaker for the price, and one of the best deals in audio.

I have a panasonic speaker it won't switch on before hitting the power button either on remote or on the physical button on speaker.

    • @TechReflex
      @TechReflex  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You'll need a DAC for Mi TV which converts coaxial to analog like this (amzn.to/2G4PipN ), or cheaper option (amzn.to/2DRNnit ). The speaker powers on the moment electricity is supplied (and the switch at the back is 'on'). You can also use a Bluetooth adapter, and connect this to TV using Bluetooth.

      Both are very different products, one is a 2.0 system, and one is 2.1, while I haven't tried it, I personally like 2.0 systems more than 2.1. Edifier also has 4 inch drivers, while swans is more like 3 inch + 5 inch sub. Edifier would also work better if used as TV speakers.

    • @vdroid89
      @vdroid89 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have both. I much prefer the sound of the M10s, the bass texture is just superior and treble is absolutely perfect on the M10s. Edifiers are better for movies as they have slightly boomy bass and better suited for movies, they have bluetooth and a remote too so keep that in mind. Soundwise, M10s. Featurewise, edifiers take the cake

    Why are you so biased towards recommending swans over z623s

    • @TechReflex
      @TechReflex  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ignoring my own experience, and experience of other people who've had/tried both of them, do you really think that I have to be biased to recommend Swans over a pair of speakers with dummy tweeters?

    • @harshitmalav8354
      @harshitmalav8354 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      TechReflex oh god what dummy tweeters? There are no tweeters in Logitech. Only dummies think that there is a tweeter hiding behind that "thx" Branding. Anyways i am still confused between z625 and m10

    • @TechReflex
      @TechReflex  6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Definition of 'dummy' = 'an object designed to resemble and serve as a substitute for the real or usual one'. So what I said does not mean that I am under the impression of there being a tweeter behind the THX branding, but that Logitech has designed that speaker, and has put that cut out in place of a tweeter, to make it resemble a speaker with actual tweeters. Also, THX branding is marketing BS, just liked 'Hi Res Audio', and Logitech is not even a serious brand when it comes to audiophile grade equipment, both, in headphones, and in speakers, unlike Swans. There is a big difference between Logitech's full range drivers with an overpowered sub, and a proper 2 way crossover unit + sub in Swans, which will take too long to get into.
      The two products are designed for completely different kind of consumer. Logitech for the people who want volume and want to feel that overpowering bass, and Swans for people interested in understanding what a proper set of speakers sounds like, and want to get a taste of what the 'audiophile' thing is about.
      So yeah, in terms of audio quality, obviously the Swans are better. Though if you are that Volume + OP bass guy, feel free to go with Z623 or any other Logitech model.
