@@thomashindle2230 I think it was the friction on his feet, because when Cj was walking slowly it would shock him a little. But once he started running, it didn't do that anymore.
The treadmill was also like a squeaky toy at times too lol

The problem is, if you turn stuff like that into an actual speedrun, it will just change from "If X happens, do Y" to "If X happens reset the run". Because whatever punishment you get will most likely stop you from getting a good time anyway

I played SMO almost straight through a train ride from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, so a few hundred miles. (ON FOOT this is probably true, though. Unless someone played consistently while walking to class/work. More miles over more time.)

Still at the intro, but predicting one of two outcomes: either CJ ends up ready to run a 5K, or has to spend 5K repairing that room after he is launched through the wall by that treadmill. Let's hope it's the former.

As someone who has had his shoulder and tops of his fingers power sanded by a treadmill before, I'm reaaaaaally glad CJ did this safely!

Dude destroyed my knee on a treadmill once because it was to close to the wall. Scar didnt heal for years
I had part of my elbow skin scraped off by a treadmill. It didn’t even hurt much because of my runners high. I didn’t notice bad it was until I finished my run and got in the shower 😅

to be fair it was at the end when he was running at 8mph and he did take a couple breaks, which usually isn't allowed at track meets.
That definitely isn't right. At 8mph he would have a 7:30 mile if he didn't stop

I like how every time CJ gets off the treadmill, it just cuts to his symphony of many different grunts and wheezes 😂
It's stuff like this that makes me realize how insane it is that every BDG stream is this on a bike.
I used to think he was insane but then I replaced my unused armchair with a bike and will just be playing games on that and it is fine for an hour but once it gets past that it starts getting rough. Really keeps me off my PlayStation too since I don't get on without the bike
