Foxes usually use the feeling of ground giving way to find mole tunnels. I've seen countless foxes hop like the ones before and pull out a mole. I think it's a combination of play but also the give in the trampoline that triggers the foxes instinct to pounce which is what they do when they find a mole in a tunnel.

Apparently during the lockdowns a fox family was seen in a small town which caused some excitement among the residents. They can't bounce but the trampoline is still being elastic and pushing back their weight. The surface is still fun for them to jump on. I'm pretty sure that fox wasn't jumping because he expected the human trampoline experience.. He did it because it felt cool.

The fact that they can't bounce, because they're too light but still jump on it and look like they expect smthn to happen shows how smart they are at observing humans and even imitating them.
Edit: My observation seems to be flawed/false since jumping and bouncing on the ground appears to be a usual behaviour for foxes. Especially while hunting, as youtube intellectuals have pointed out for me in the replies.

They can't bounce but the trampoline is still being elastic and pushing back their weight. The surface is still fun for them to jump on. I'm pretty sure that fox wasn't jumping because he expected the human trampoline experience.. He did it because it felt cool.
