I think it's great that they don't have any totoros there. Like this it looks like a really magical place and not just for people to buy something etc. ^.^
I wonder if any child thought that they saw Totoro after visiting this place. After watching the film yesterday, I kinda wondered if anyone over Mei and Satsuki's ages, as in, those who are young at heart, ever seen Totoro. (Ridiculous, yes, but I like to believe in the fantastic)
i know that I mean what is the world expo 2005. What was the theme that they had to build this specific house from that specific movie and I want to know because I really love totoro.
Probably, but it won't move. After all, castles can't move unless they are the only thing on a floating island where the castle just fits on or something.
Totoro Means King A rich man named Bakashi Nandaksu idolized “studio ghibli” and built the house for some reason, he first thought building the house and wanted it to become a tourist spot for people who watched the movie and he have the money so, why not? It is built last June 17, 2003.
Totoro is my faverioute ghibli movie (my second is kiki) and knowing this exists fills me with so much joy!! Omg
It was such a good movie I’m crying
Just watched this movie this morning ^_^ i love how they even added the palm trees and the decaying poles that support the house

They built this as part of the World Expo in 2005, held in Aichi prefecture Japan, just outside of Seto. It has been preserved as a permanent exhibit.

hi, nekobasu! is the house still standing and is it still open to visitors? :) I'm planning a trip to japan soon and would love to visit. :)

lindo video
i just wanted to live in that house

OML
grew up and living in Aichi pref.
