Thank you for reacting to the only band I listen to these days. Since the late '70s ( few years after high school) I have mostly been listening to classical music because of popular music taking a deep dive in quality. But now The Warning has caught my attention with their catchy riffs, melodies that are sung rather than screamed or growled, and imaginative songwriting.
I completely agree with the Pink Floyd and Foo Fighter comparisons for the bridge/interlude part, that's my favorite part of the song and it always reminds me of both artists, just a great song overall!
Yes, 100% that bassline it is sweet!.. So sad that for some reason Ale doesn't enjoy this song anymore. If she knew everybody loves her play on this one.
This song is off their FIRST album, XXI Century Blood. It is definitely a fan favorite. You may want to watch the live version from the Whiskey a go go. As for songwriting, they were asked after they recorded their latest album, Error, if they were working on more new songs. They said they had like 50 more songs to work on. yes FIFTY! They have 4 more albums on their Lava contract and they already are working on enough for those remaining 4 albums. Just mind-blowing!! When all is said and done, The Warning will be one of the biggest bands of all time. Yes, I said it. Future Legends! Don't worry about the trolls. Don't feed them and they go away. Feel better Dashy!
You know, near the end when you said "they will probably be one of the best hard rock bands ever" it really made me happy, cause believe me, a lot of new and old fans feel that way... there is something about them that makes you want them to win and go places.. they really deserve all the success. And talking about Pink Floyd, they growed up listen them as well as the Foo Fighters.. I feel that the solo at the end of "show me the light" song has a lot of David Gilmour's soul in it. SHATTERED HEART: a beautiful song, beautiful riff with a wonderful bass line and a great interpretation of Dany in the pure style of Pat Benatar, TW a proliferating band with more than 40 songs and all of them of quality, their composition capacity is inexhaustible
The sound they get is amazing in this gig ,i cant get over they were so young here if you were a top producer in the audience youd want sign them big time !
The white sheets are pages taped to the floor upon which their set playlists are printed, so that they know which songs come in what order. At the end of their concerts Rudy, their manager, usually hands those to select audience members in the front row.
Ale's bass line is just extraordinary in this song and Dany's voice is really nice here. Btw, I think the guy in the corner is holding a white 'The Warning' banner. Thanks for listening with us again!

Had to drive 300km on the weekend and I had the Album XXI Century Blood on repeat the whole way up. On the way back down I had all three of their albums playing in sequence XXICB, QOTMS and Error, made the journey so much more enjoyable. Hope you feel better too soon.
The sound is great from this venue but they didn’t really consider the drummer. Pau is in the shadows for much of the show. I kind of understand the Pink Floyd vibe here, there are a few songs coming up where it is a little more evident. Dany has mentioned David Gilmour a number of times as someone she looks up to so that feel probably slips in occasionally without even trying. Who's making rude comments? I think Dashy is whimsical and charming, and pops sounds like a distinguished, English gentleman. Sometimes "a beast" means being awesome, stong, tanacious, so it probably wasn't all bad. lol
