Good review but your are mostly missing the important parts. That being said the platform going rogue and canceling, banning or shutting down accounts is important and that also makes a privacy policy crucial but only IF they follow it to a tee. The other big issue is what happens with the data after it arrives on their signals. The real concern is that many platforms sell or re-sell that data, so being encrypted matters not if a platform is simply making sales for their data.

just 2 years ago? they been tracking us every way they can since the foundation of the internet
@@Farreach no i meant to say about these whatsapp data linked and sharing to facebook. they've been collecting data sharing pools of information to you on facebook for than 2 years now. WhatsApp is used to be Signal before since it was acquired by facebook it was never the same.
That’s why I have alt accounts for every social media/app lol, they probably can still link the info to my real account somehow but well it’s a little bit harder for them (I hope)
This is not even about privacy anymore. It's about teaching bigtech that we are in control, and they need us. Not that we need them. We have the power, literally, at our fingertips. Let's teach Facebook a lesson
I don’t understand why no one talks about Threema? Which is IMO by far the most secure messenger. It doesn’t needs your phone number or your name. Instead one gets an invitation from the one who want to talk to you.
I like what's app better I don't care about privacy as I have nothing to hide and signal will do they same in future when they see opportunity to sell alot of data
Ok .
@Fee Dee none of that is on my device so I have nothing to hide I use my laptop for all those stuff .
@Fee Dee why do you think I'm making excuses I have never bought anything of my phone and yeah laptop is where I buy stuff .and what will you do with my passport nothing .
Why do you have Linus Voice
CEO of Twitter endorsing it makes me nervous.
I don't think Elon is pushing forward the signal. Rather i consider it a simple recommendation... Only if I'm not wrong👍👍👍
same CEO as Twitter? enough said, no thanks!!! use Telegram!
Which music is he using in his video in the background? It is soo good. Please tell me
What if Elon Musk buy Signal like facebook bought Whatsapp,
I really think it is owned by him somehow
Id trust it more honestly.
@@waelal-amri2161 It's not.
@@jpusar believe me, becoming a billionaire dosent haben if your honest, safe, or simple.
Sa vle di kite yonn pran yon lot app tout se menm rezo sosyo le what's app te fenk vini moun pa te itilize l konsa pou app ki genyen malgre se signal messenger toujou la
I've been promoting Telegram as an second choice!
Hello, I am new to Signal, and I already like it a lot! Only issue is that there aren’t many Signal users in my contacts. Question: what can you do with Signal that you can’t do with Whatsapp?
Answer to your question : stay safe and private.
signal is light years ahead in terms of privacy and security
❤️
NO NO NO NO NO.
Hmmm
Link to Signal please someone !!!!
Jack Dorsey recommended it? No thanks
are messages on whats appb not end to end encrypted in the us ???
telegram is the worst of them all ( combined )
why?
@@quakenxt not as secure
Good review but your are mostly missing the important parts. That being said the platform going rogue and canceling, banning or shutting down accounts is important and that also makes a privacy policy crucial but only IF they follow it to a tee. The other big issue is what happens with the data after it arrives on their signals. The real concern is that many platforms sell or re-sell that data, so being encrypted matters not if a platform is simply making sales for their data.
It would be interesting if he has shares in signal.
that's impossible! Signal's parent company is an NPO.
Well, he donated $5 Million to Signal, and Signal Foundation is a non profit organization. It doesn't make sense that he would have shares in Signal.
There’s also iMessage 💬. Why does nobody talk about iMessage when they’re talking about secure messaging.
Apple only? Plus Apple in order to run both the hardware and software has to have ALL your info. No thanks. Personally I don't use apps for messaging anyway. That's what my phone is for. I use Signal for video calls.
