The driving "beat" or "groove" stands strongly as the focal point on which everything else is built. One of my favorites from Sepultura is "Ratamahatta". "Roots, Bloody Roots" is also a Sepultura classic not to be missed.
Sepultura's styles varied alot throug the years, Arise is definetly when they start dipping their toes into more groove focused thrash, while earlier albums where more straightforward thrash metal, the earliest ones leaning more to death metal. Beneath the Remains, Arise and Chaos AD would be the most essential albums, BtR is pure thrash, Arise in the middle, and Chaos AD is fully developed groove metal.
Sepultura Live in Barcelona 1991 is one of the best live metal shows ever recorded. recommend reacting to the whole show. Desperate Cry is equally brutal and epic live.
fucking love this album. you really need to react to a song called davidian by machine head when you get a chance,make sure its the music video aswell. also try out some fear factory (anything off demanufacture is a good place to start) and then biohazard (punishment or shades of grey would be good)
Fear Factory Soul of a New Machine is their best album by far! I liked them alot better when they first came into the scene with their Deathmetal roots.
An underrated song from an underrated sepultura album. Sepultura- From The Past Comes The Storms. This is when they were just starting out and this album is so good I don't know I havent heard anyone say much about it. But hopefully you guys check it out and keep up the good reactions

My two most prized possesions are two of Igor's drum sticks that I caught at conerts. Both of them were split down the middle from the force he plays with, and he uses giant sticks. I've played for a while(15 yrs or so) and have yet split one of these sized "logs".. what a beast
I love old skool Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax as much as the next Metalhead, but I will 9 times out of 10 listen to Megadeth, Sepultura and Pantera over them 🤘🤘
