Im going to be completely honest. I absolutely love the fact that it wasnt for the title. And i hope he continues to make the big fights awithput the title because it puts pressure on the commissions and gives more leverage on the fighters.
He's going up to 147. Where some real killers are. He didn't care about missing weight... Losing money for it. Or winning a belt. He just wanted to beat Haney up. And put a 1 in that loss column

@@wassaaa710I like both of them and think tank is the better fighter but Ryan physically can barely get under 140 and wasn’t allowed to drink water and rehydrate it plays a crucial role in how many shots you can take to your body but especially your head, with it not having as much hydration and fluid in the brain it’s easier to get knocked out

For those of you shitting on Kamaru for wanting Canelo while also questioning O’Malley for wanting Ryan, he‘a not being a hypocrite at all. He specifically says O’Malley has an entire division to go through and defend his belt against, which Kamaru definitely did (even defending against a lot of guys twice) before mentioning boxing Canelo. He cleaned out Welterweight before casually setting sites on boxing.
I’m not a fighter but why do people always discuss power vs speed. The formula for kinetic energy is K = 1/2m v^2. (m: mass; v: velocity) meaning that speed is by far the biggest component of creating power (given same size individuals).
