On the german 'Bierkrug' it is written.... 'In vine there lies truth, in beer there lies strength, in water there is all bacteria.' On the other side it says ' Science teaches us, how to quench thurst the right way.' Hello from Claudia in Bavaria/Germany
You know Danni that you don’t have to justify anything that you do. We are just here to watch and learn and have fun along with you. Yeah sometimes there’s some things I would love for you to pick up. But hey you can’t hear me yell can you?
I love draws liners. Back in the 70’s and early 80’s tire ashtrays were really big. I love anything with grapes. I love those flower plates for hanging.
I went to an antique store yesterday. I found a corning Havest Gold mixing bowl like I had 48 years ago after I got married. Two pieces of Pyrex and two stacking sets of Tupperware. I feel 40 years younger. Now if I could find a light green jello mold like my mom had. I've seen them frequently watching thrifters but no one ever buys one. I was doing sentimental shopping. My husband ruined so much in dishwashers.
Yes Mis Danny it does suck being dark at 430 I close the living room curtains against the dark. Maybe you can find a Antique button to turn the dark into the light again lol.
Actually @saf1251 none of what I purchase goes into storage. I bring the items home, clean and photo them, list them and then take them to my store until they sell. All things sell within about a month so my storage is only 2 - 3 shelf units. If I needed to I could store them in my garage.
OAXACAN pot at 32:46. The redware is nice too. The two tonalan plates were great, also. And the clay sun plaque is cool. Must be lots of Mexican wares end up in vegas. Danni, that store makes you absolutely giddy! The fawn piece is a handprinted work of art. You can see the marks.
I can’t imagine someone hating you! I’ve been watching a while and you couldn’t be nicer. I can’t afford goodwill but I get to go with you! So grateful 😊❤❤❤
I whole-heartedly agree with you, the lack of sunlight in winter bites. Shortest day of the year is in 2 days, and then we start getting more sunlight back each day.
Love watching your videos my friend!! You find the best things!! Live you and your channel my friend!! God bless you and your family!! Much love!! 🌺🌺🥰🥰💙💙😊😊💖💖💜💜❤️❤️🌹🌹💕💕💕🦋🦋🦋🦜🦜🦜🦜🐢🐢🐢🐢
I really don't like it getting dark at 430. I was just talking with my husband about this today. It was 4:18 and almost dark. 🙄 Who likes this? Thanks for the video!
The Peggy Karr Plate is from her Harvest Grape Series, introduced 1993 and retired 2001. Prior to 1995 the grapes were cobalt blue like the plate you picked up. Later ones were purple.
🤭🤭 Go Danni!! You are finding incredible items. Don’t stop now. I luv them all. Wish are goodwill had items like your store. 😭😭❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰💃💃💃. Miss Bougie😊
I've had the same plastic trays for 48 years. I always put homemade cookies and candy on them. I have several. I'm going to put notes on them asking my daughters to keep them. I caught my husband trying to throw them out. Surprisingly, we're still married. He doesn't know the meaning of sentimental value. I'd put kindling in the basket with plaid fabric. Spirals sell for 25 cents the whole month before school starts at Walmart. They were 10 cents when my daughters were in school. 99 cents is too high any time of year.
Danni, that grape fused glass plate looks like a classic Peggy Carr. Sometime her signature is hard to find, and I believe it’s better if you have the “pizza box” they come in. Beautiful serving plate though!
I ran across 2 peggy Carr oval platters a few months ago that were consigned. The oval Paris bistro screamed my sister-in-laws- name. The other one surrounded by fruit was mine, I paid $20 each
Hello Danni, I totally understand about the getting dark early. It starts getting dark where I live about 3:30 and I'd really dark at 4. Makes a very short day.
I felt bad that the basket box wasn't old like you thought. We used to build w/reclaimed wood & I could see it was aged too evenly when it was on the shelf.
Dani about those colorful wooden fish, I have them from a “fancy” dinner in Maui at our hotel. They were the centerpieces that we could take. I took them for one of my bathrooms decor. lol
I just added water to my daughter's vintage snow globes. 3 are the plastic ones and one was a Hallmark. They all have plugs on the bottom. Not sure if the SF Musicbox type snowglobes can be opened. Haven't tried those.
The fused glass can be a Peggy Carr. I lived not far from her factory in New Jersey. Her shop would have “seconds” for sale. These did not have a signature. That size plate even though a second would still be pricey.
Hi, Danni! I'm watching this in April, but I saw my turkey platter! It was that porcelain-coated one you didn't keep. Mine actually is one my grandma had, which was handed down to my mom, and now I have it! I haven't used it a lot, but I treasure it! Love your channel! 🙂🧑🦲🦃
The blue and white is called Willow Pattern recognised by 3 figures on bridge and weeping willow tree. Turkey is traditional xmas dinner in UK. What do you eat in America for xmas dinner ? Xxx❤
Danni Those 2 pumpkins can be out Year around, they are not your typical fall pumpkins !! Frame 21:28 ** The basket w/ plaid inside. I would put pine cones tiped in white, sprigs of pine branch & some colorful Christmas cards poking up in the back to ad hight.
100%. So funny that Danni was talking about them just before she picked it up, but it still would have been my first thought of what to put in it. Would be so pretty. ❤
I pegged the Ortiz pot as having value right away. It was obvious in the burnished finish which is achieved not with a glaze but rather with hand rubbing. Maria Martinez black on black pottery had that same sheen and she burnished her art with a stone!
4:47 Used in vintage furniture. I refurbish antique furniture and the old wood smell is not all that appealing. You can line the entire inside of drawers and spray with a perfume when the original smell subsides.
Fused glass plate is a Peggy Karr n she signs n dates her on bottom right usually on front….hold to light n you’ll find it. Sold my last one on eBay for really good money
I'm sure you've heard or done this before: Snap pics of things you wonder about. Then, after you leave & can get a signal, do a quick search. If it's worth anything, you could always run back in!
I wish I could visit that Goodwill just 1 time…but flying in from the Netherlands is a bit much!😂 Please show us the polar bears after Rachel touched them up.🙏🏻 Those costumized angels are fantastic! Such a great idea!👍🏼 I love it when “that” happens!😂You got some fantastic pottery,so great. The duck or goose was really cool! You said in German;”In wine lays the truth,in beer the power,in water the germs,it teaches us the knowledge how quench thirst.” I love the octopus dish..I have a silver octopus pendant..I adore them too.🐙 I am not a reseller but I always pick up nice pieces of fused glass in the thrift store I work.I think it’s so beautiful.😍
I wish Den Haag had a Goodwill store when in 1999 we had just 2 weeks to clear out my mother-in-law's flat she'd lived in for 50 years when she decided she could no longer live alone nor wanted to immigrate to America and went into a nursing home before we got there. Nobody would take really good but used items or appliances. As she predicted, she lived only 2 years after being admitted there as had happened with all her friends.

I sure miss you Danni
I have already seen this one but I miss you
I LOVE that you are shopping in your old style. No number limits, no “10 items”. Way more fun to watch & way more to learn. Thank you so much.🙏🏻🙏🏻

Awesome and hello! Thanks for the translation..

Absolutely!
I agree. It sucks that it gets dark so early. Where I live, it's 34 degrees and falling and we're suppose to get some snow tonight.
Danny I love your up attitude . Let’s get shop done
I love draws liners. Back in the 70’s and early 80’s tire ashtrays were really big. I love anything with grapes. I love those flower plates for hanging.
When it gets dark outside early, I like to stay in. I do all my outside errands in daylight . Hello from Illinois.
If your man works in a tire shop that tire bowl would be the last thing he'd want to see when he comes home! Love you guys!
I am going to say it again. You are so lucky to have such wonderful Goodwills. Mine are horrible.
Danni, you got some fabulous items! Thanks for taking us along!
I use scented drawer liners! I take some with me on vacation to put into the drawers at the hotel!
Yes, Dani, winter would be much more bearable in the light👍❤️

I think I have a mint green one. I can check and see.
And the microwave.
Sentimental shopping, I like that. Glad you found some treasures!
Yes Mis Danny it does suck being dark at 430 I close the living room curtains against the dark. Maybe you can find a Antique button to turn the dark into the light again lol.
I think one name of the fused glass plates is Peggy Karr . Wow !! What a shopping trip !!
Danni, I too am a bird lady, owned some all my life, macaw, cockatiel, and now 7 Australian Lady Gouldian finches - love birds!
Target donates quite a bit of things that don’t sell in their store. I pick up quite a few Target items like organization baskets for myself.
You need the Queen of Clubs box ! Significance is leadership, finding your Niche, following your dreams etc
OH MY GODDD DANNIII congartulations with Grant and Jordan ...FINALY lets get weddingplanning/shop done!!!! woohoooo
I know right?!!!!
How are you able to keep up with such large hauls? I only pick up random items and still get overwhelmed! Great video…
Have to have a rhythm to the routine to get it all done!

I like it when you find one piece out of place and you take it back to join it's friends
Hi from England hope you're well and that includes the children and all your critters to 😅😅❤❤
Hi, and thank you!
I can’t imagine someone hating you! I’ve been watching a while and you couldn’t be nicer. I can’t afford goodwill but I get to go with you! So grateful 😊❤❤❤
I agree with you, Dani, about it getting dark.
I’d love to see how you organize and store all of your finds. Do you have any videos showing that?
I'll show more soon!
@@TheNICHELadyI would also love to see how you photograph and list!
Don't feel so bad, up here in Finland we are down to just 5 or 6 hours of daylight (not sunlight!) daily & its getting dark at 3pm.
Wow!!!
The basket can be used for so many things, trees, ornaments, pinecones, just anything really. Good video, i liked seeing all the Christmas stuff!
I was thinking Christmas 🎄 Cards but you’re right, so many options.
I whole-heartedly agree with you, the lack of sunlight in winter bites. Shortest day of the year is in 2 days, and then we start getting more sunlight back each day.
thank you i’ve been down with something you help me sooo much today
Hi Danni I would of picked those lamps up lv ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
The blue and white platter is definitely Blue Willow. There was a time when I collected it. Had quite a collection.

I think that tire used to hold an ash tray

Ha! He narrowly escaped I'm sure!

Peggy Karr is the spelling
Hello Danni, I totally understand about the getting dark early. It starts getting dark where I live about 3:30 and I'd really dark at 4. Makes a very short day.
Hate when its 4 and dark love your shopping trips never been to good will but it is fun watching you
I felt bad that the basket box wasn't old like you thought. We used to build w/reclaimed wood & I could see it was aged too evenly when it was on the shelf.
Yes People cook a Turkey for Christmas, your thinking that way because you probably wouldn't , But others do..
Beautiful little fawn!
Dani about those colorful wooden fish, I have them from a “fancy” dinner in Maui at our hotel. They were the centerpieces that we could take. I took them for one of my bathrooms decor. lol
Hate it getting dark at 4:30! I stay in at night too.
Hi wow there was a lot of stuff I like too. I just love the way you shop. Another nice video.
I just bought some brass wall platters like the copper. I love them. Remind me of my dad's antique ones.
That Snowman with the missing carrot nose, I believe it was under him in the packaging. When you first turned him over, I think I saw it.
Wow great haul & pieces I'm with u on the getting dark way to early great video ❤️👍
Woo-hoo, great treasure trove found Danni, well done. ❤😊
You can put fresh cut bread inside the plaid styled basket
I don’t like the time change either….. recently purchased one of those light therapy lights for mood….I’ll let u know if it helps me!
I just added water to my daughter's vintage snow globes. 3 are the plastic ones and one was a Hallmark. They all have plugs on the bottom. Not sure if the SF Musicbox type snowglobes can be opened. Haven't tried those.
The rectangular basket with the red check is used for Christmas cards.
The fused glass can be a Peggy Carr. I lived not far from her factory in New Jersey. Her shop would have “seconds” for sale. These did not have a signature. That size plate even though a second would still be pricey.
I love rose scented drawer liner.
I hate it when it gets dark so early. And add snow and driving in the dark on way to or from work just adds to the madness!
Love ypur treasures!! The polar bears are ahhh!❤
Hi, Danni! I'm watching this in April, but I saw my turkey platter! It was that porcelain-coated one you didn't keep. Mine actually is one my grandma had, which was handed down to my mom, and now I have it! I haven't used it a lot, but I treasure it! Love your channel! 🙂🧑🦲🦃

Thankyou 🙂
We've always done a ham!
@@TheNICHELady Thankyou ! 😀
in uk most people have turkey , ham or beef for christmas too amerry christmas to all 🎄
The sectioned basked is for barbeque large section for serviettes, the two smaller ones for ketchup and mustard.

Hi Danni, I hope all is going well! Congratulations on Jordan’s Engagement!!❤️❤️
Hi Lynn! I've missed you!
The little Christmas tree set with the x wooden bases looks like they are part of Nick's Tree Farm set. 🎄
I pegged the Ortiz pot as having value right away. It was obvious in the burnished finish which is achieved not with a glaze but rather with hand rubbing. Maria Martinez black on black pottery had that same sheen and she burnished her art with a stone!
$7.99 for a cheap scratched sign that isn't old is ridiculous.
4:47 Used in vintage furniture. I refurbish antique furniture and the old wood smell is not all that appealing. You can line the entire inside of drawers and spray with a perfume when the original smell subsides.
Be glad they price things for you at check out, here in Pa, no tag, no sale, it goes back to be reprocessed, ugh
I always use drawer liners but not the scented kind because those are usually artificially scented.
Fantastic video! Love all the treasures you found!
Those lamps you saw I have them on my bedside tables. Got them for way less than 25 dollars.
They need to leave daylight savings time alone. But, I'll still shop with you. Trying g to learn. Ur a good teacher, lady...😊
Hi, our Goodwill is very expensive for Knick knacks especially-clothes are $5. and up I don’t resale so my purchases are minimal
It’s really hard to find 3 Wise men. I can’t even find 1 😂
hehehe
Now, THAT was fun! What a great video with amazing finds. You had me as excited as you were! So enjoyable. Thank you, Danni!
I absolutely feel the same way about it getting dark in the winter
Where the deer and the antelope play ... Home on the Range ... and windmills are found in Kansas!
Danni, the lamps look like the ones my folks received as wedding gifts, and the body of the lamp may also light.
Yes, I love scented drawer liners.
Fused glass plate is a Peggy Karr n she signs n dates her on bottom right usually on front….hold to light n you’ll find it. Sold my last one on eBay for really good money
I think the rope birdhouses were wren nesting boxes.
I'm pretty sure they're bee skeps.❤
Actually they are hummingbird houses! I’ve seen them on Amazon.
The plaid basket would be great for pine cones or christmas card collection
Love all the pottery pieces❤️
That trunk of wood would be cute pen and pencil marker holder the small part for paper clips or small things
What a great haul you had. This was a good day in your nichedom. 👍🏻😊👋🏻
You found some very nice items. Can't wait to see your Xmas decor!
I'm cooking a turkey for Christmas this year. So there!
I'm sure you've heard or done this before: Snap pics of things you wonder about. Then, after you leave & can get a signal, do a quick search. If it's worth anything, you could always run back in!
I've seen the fish in like fish shops or aquariums, as wall decorations.
I never thrift, but you make it look fun! 😊
I have two lamps like those, a little different but with the same gold paint. Bought at the San Diego swap meet in the 90s.
I think the tire item is suppose to have an ashtray that sits in it. My dad had something similiar to that which was a 2 piece ash tray set
Yes on the drawer scented liner😊
Great shop!
Gotta eat supper, list one more item, and pack a couple items for shipping. After that if it’s not too late, I’ll be watching.
I wish I could visit that Goodwill just 1 time…but flying in from the Netherlands is a bit much!😂
