Please stay out of brick and mortar stores! By the time you pay the space rent a percentage if someone charges the item and subtract your cost of goods you’re not making any money. I got rid of all three of my spaces and now sell exclusively online. I am happy to pay Ebay 15% or 13% or whatever it is now instead of all that overhead in a store! Not only that my customer base is huge. I don’t have to wait for somebody to walk in and decide to buy something. I love selling online not only that I can do everything from my home and not have to go to a store and clean and rearrange, and add things so much less trouble. I will never open another booth in an antique store.
Smart advise
But just because it didnt work for you, doesn't mean it doesn't work. Goodwill and Value Village (Canada) are obvious proof that it CAN work.

I just looked into a spot in a thrift store… $100 monthly fee for book shelf plus 75% from each of my sells!

I had a retail store and it took 3 years to turn a small profit but it was a labor of love. Met lots of great people and had a ton of fun. The last 2 years I worked for free and knew it was time to move on. It was much easier going in than getting out! Wishing you all the best…

I can’t even imagine how hard that would be closing a store, it took a lot out of my daughter and I when I left the Antique store I left , I’m glad you got it all done and I hope you have more time and less stress now that it’s done.

Btw, my little vintage booth is doing pretty good. It’s paying the booth rent and a little more to reinvest. It gives me and my mom(shes 85) something to do, especially as I navigate a new season ,a new chapter of life. I’ve been feeling very lonely and sad lately, not sure why as I’ve also been a very happy, bubbly person. But this too shall pass! I learn so much from you every video so thank you very much! I also watch Sandi Brock. Love her and her channel!

That doterra box I would have used for a bookshelf for my Barbie doll house, I would take the hinges off and use the top section to make a table/coffee table.

Lol I'm 😂🍁 Canadian hun. It used to get extremely cold around minus 40!! Now in 2024 it only gets around minus 10ish. Global warming. In the 1970s we had soo much snow we could've even walk or drive.have a picture of our house, well sort of you can see part of the roof😂.❤❤❤your videos sweetie

I have one of those large mixing bowls. There great to have. When I’m making potatoe salad for big family get together. Or mixing cookies.

Bambergers was a store like Macys in NYC that was an employee holiday gift.
In the metals section you missed a Lovevery brand toy. Wood handle and a scooped bottom. They sell well! A ball goes inside for the child to spin.

Coldwater Creek was a very nice brand. That necklace would have retailed for between $40 and $60 when new.
I could definitely use the Doterra box for my earrings. The sections are a bit deep but I sure do need the separation. :)

Ohhhhhhh my gosh our savers was putting out wedding stuff that they received. They had candelabras and white flowers and all I could think of was you and your daughter and what a shame that you couldn’t be here in Ohio there were boxes of these flowers lilies, and it wasn’t baby breath, but it was something else similar all white.

I think Gullwing is a type of door on a car that opens up from a hinge on the top. Both doors together opened, form GullWings.
Gold wing is a motorcycle as far as i know not sure what brand Honda maybe it’s a over the seas brand of some sort. But it could be a plane too.
I would love to have the oil box to separate all of my beaded necklaces. Since the sections are so deep it would work perfectly. You could probably use it for the same purpose.

It's a moter cycle name I think a Honda Goldwing we had a yellow one in Colorado in the early 80s. Rode it in the mountains a lot. Had a blast.
Jordan could thrift her toasting glasses. I saw those two glasses that were in that box that would have been perfect for that.
