I was raised from the dead when I was 5 in the morgue after drowning waiting for my mother to identify my body. I drowned. I watched them put me in the ambulance from outside my body and I was moving up towards the clouds looking down on the scene. Then God heard the desperate prayers of my mother and then I started to hear them and woke up in the body bag. There is no air in there either. I did not get saved till 16 but I did not get water baptized till I was almost 50. Something definitely happened in me. I was delivered from every demon a few days later all alone at home praying my heart out. Getting water baptized Jesus told us that meant he could shorty after give us the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire and when this happened to me I started to heal people and cast out demons in Jesus name because God told me to! He told me to start with my wife. We were under a curse of suffering for many years and tried to be faithful but we got resentful of some people. That was a sin of the heart letting us be oppressed by demons. We were both set free from all anxiety and upset. We are like honeymooners ourselves and have been 4 years now. This was supernatural and we are still filled with the joy we were filled with 4 years ago. We both got water baptized at the same time. Baptism for the dead may mean so we can raise the dead as Jesus told us. I got the gifts of the Holy Spirit that day. Tongues and interpretation, prophecy and healing! I was healed supernaturally at least 5 major times now. I know the feeling when the Holy Spirit is on me and God is telling me to pray for someone or give the gospel to someone. I see people getting saved just about every day and God is doing it not me. I just obey him. I know him. I am so drawn to him I have not had a bad day or bad dream or been upset or angry with another human being because I see how much Jesus loves them real time. He protects me from the enemy tempting me. God hides me in his shadow as I seek him in love and sing to him and he sings back over me. Jesus said to keep his commandments and he would manifest into us. He does and we can physically feel it. We can not hold onto resentments in our hearts as it is a sin of the heart and not repented if we are still resentful. I got set free when I asked God to help me forgive. He did a work on my heart I never knew possible all my years as a believer. We need to know the character of God to understand. It has to be about raising the dead. We can raise the dead. Jesus told us to. It was common for Jesus to do and he said we would do more than him.

This is why I believe it is important for God to have prophets in our day just as he did in ancient times. Proxy baptism is explained in much more detail in modern revelation known as Doctrine and Covenants section 128. Based on this, we look back at that one verse in the Bible and figure that’s what he must be taking about. The best way to gain your own testimony in the restoration of the fullness of the gospel is by testing the fruits and reading the Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants, and ask God with a truly open heart if these are inspired revelations or not.

I used to live in New Zealand, and I had missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints come to my home frequently. Based on their suggestions, I read much of the Doctrine and Covenants, as well as the Pearl of Great Price. I read the entire Book of Mormon. I actually made a video about that. I'll link it below. I found the missionaries kind and ready to listen, for the most part. There was one time they even helped me move a gigantic stack of firewood, even while dressed in their suits! Although I experienced great kindness from the missionaries, after reading and comparing the documents, and following the instructions of the Bible, I have come to the solid conclusion that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not the church of Christ, and the elders, prophets, and apostles are not true elders, prophets, and apostles (another video on that-the second link). I was praying my heart out all alone at home and I got filled and humbled in my heart to forgive all those I held a resentment against and saw them as someone Jesus loves dearly who needs saving. I could never get upset with another human being since! I could never do this. I was also told to lay hands and heal some people and they got healed! We are also told we can raise the dead and we can if we are baptized in the Holy Spirit and Fire. Baptized for the dead means so we can raise the dead as Jesus said we would. I'm not responsible for another person, I stand alone before the throne of Christ for what I do in this life because I'm a believer ,not for my sin, my sin is washed clean by the blood of Yeshua. John 3:18 Whoever believes and trusts in Him is not condemned but the one who does not believe is condemned ALREADY because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God. This is a promise made by God in His word! Notice that Yeshua says that the one who does not believe is judged already! This means what we choose in this life matters. As you pointed out in Hebrews 9:27 it is appointed for man to die once then judgement. This belief of the LDS is similar to the Jehovah Witnesses in getting a second chance.
