I hate the amount of ads they try to force on you. I have a Roku now, and it is far superior - but I have been thinking about trying Apple, which is why I am here.
I complained about this when they did this on the MacOS and now they’ve done it everywhere. For TVs and movies there is no way just to casually browse you can only go by the recommendations and ironically the most bought items… I loved going through and just casually browsing and seeing what was new. I can no longer do that so I guess I won’t be purchasing anything on Apple TV because I have no idea what has newly been released unless it is massively popular and everyone else is buying it…. Truly a terrible move by Apple however, I’m really not surprised… they’ve already ruined my iOS experience since iOS 12.1 so they may as well continue going downhill on my eyes. At least Amazon Prime Video allows you to casually browse and buy TV shows and movies from them, so this could be a good opportunity to switch over
