We throw stuff on the bed for driving too! 😆 Have you ever gotten up in the middle of the night and moved your van to face the front into the wind? We have done that before and it really helps cut down on any rocking because it's more aerodynamic.
Glad it’s not just us 😂😂 Hadn’t thought of that actually but it makes sense! We’d parked this way for the view out the back in the day 😅 We usually sleep pretty well through almost anything and if we wake up it’s usually on for a shot period…
@@brookandjulius I'm a crap sleeper, so I have lots of time to figure out all the tricks. We park for the views too, but sometimes you have to do a little compromising for a good night's sleep. 🙂
Haha! There’s lots of ‘gravel pits’ around the country. Usually places where they store gravel for roadworks. Glad you’re enjoying the vids 😀 long way to go before a standup gig 😅
Definitely pros and cons! The night at Whalebone after we wrapped this one up was even more hectic, it was blowing around 53km/h all night. Probably would have taken a rooftop tent clean off 😂

Haha but just think of all the places you can get to in a 4WD that we can’t! Apparently there are seasons over here where it is less windy, so maybe you have to pick your time
