warning !!!! Do Not Use Subtrim to level your swash plate adjust by linkages only if you have any issues or problems comment in the section below and we will help you
Would I be correct in making this adjustment with (1) motor wires disconnected (2) Tx powered (3) Tx sticks in mid position (4) adjust servo push rods to just make contact with swash plate leveler? Thanks for reply.
hello Thomas it's me Paul from Bronx New York. I have this problem. it's with my 450 and my 550 helicopter. every time I take off my helicopters tip over. Everyone says that it's because of an uneven swashplate and I believe them. from Bronx New York. I have this problem. Its with my 450 and my 550 helicopter............ Do I actually unscrew the.buckles from the swashplate.and adjust.them to.proper length at midstick or.do I go to subtrims on my transmitter and do it electronically? Because Everytime I go.to take off she tips over.and this can be frustrating. I swear i got everything down to a T. All my setup steps. All al. my parameter set-ups Everrrrry Thing. Please help me. I.am stumped Thomas and so scared to spin up my helicopter in fear she might tip over and do damage to my helicopter.
I love this guy's videos. He is my go to guy when im having issues no other guy matches his knowledge. I guess he was born with it in his blood. Keep up the good work Tom. I need to get a swash plate leveling tool for my 380 goblin which one do you recommend? and where can i get it? Thanks big T
I've got a trex 550e on a hitec radio optic 6 sport. well I don't know much about this yet... I've not tried to fly it lol I know better. I got 1 ? though ... isn't the tail rotor supposed to center?? mine just stays where you put it. can this be changed in the settings?
Hmm, No disrespect especially now that he's passed on. Just wanted to say I disagree with part of the method here. I've found nothing but headache by adjusting links to get level swash. It show's up later in the head setup when you try to get both blades tracking properly. Had best results with getting those links about equal as best I could. The elevator linkage may be a little shorter but as long as the ailerons are good I'm usually fine. So get those two exactly same length best you can and the elevator as close as you can. get those servos 90'ed using he same hole. Spend time on this step it makes the rest of your setup that much better. Just my 2 cents btw I'm no expert just an average noob, was planning to share my maiden with him then learned he passed 5 months ago. very sad now. RIP WC
Hi WC, got your reply but it's not on these comments, bloody weird, yeah got skype but only forward facing camera, or we can just type.... Check out my last vid, the swash is ok. Think it might have been the ESC not initialising properly, it beeped 5 times instead of 3, also battery was low.....
hey WC, good video bro.... i need to contact you regarding my vids too but i cant, you have made several comments which i value dearly but cant reply.... im hopeless with youtube man.....
