Touhou LuaSTG Activity 7 - Mysterious Labyrinth with Shin Tenxka! (Reimu)

- I don't have much else to post for Treasure Castle Labyrinth, but I did find this one boss fight in LuaSTG, a Chinese fangame with lots of stages to enjoy. And one of those stages features Shin Tenxka and Kanpukugu Otohime!
This boss fight was very fun. Even though some of the attacks are a little unbalanced, a lot of the spell cards are very creative.
I especially loved Tenxka's final spell, Noble Phantasm "Four Swords". The spell fits very well with the music, it starts off normal, then once you realize "she's literally shooting black holes at me", the music becomes more intense, and speeds up once the spell card really begins.
And Tenxka's portrait is amazingly drawn! It looks exactly like something ZUN would have made.

How do you pronounce Tenxka?
Ten-ka? Ten-ska? Ten-shka?
I know Tenka is technically the correct one, but the X makes it sound cooler

Can't wait for the new version of this theme and her final spell theme to come out because this theme desperately needs an upgrade with how repetitive it is
As much as I like Tenxka's themes, I agree, especially for the final spell theme. It's the same ~10 seconds looped every time. Same for Amane's final spell theme.
how much i've destroyed that stage is so unreal.NBed Twice with Sanae, one with just 3 misses.
For now..this is so close a True Labyrinth stage

Unfortunately, the new theme for Amane isn't out, and it probably won't come out until May, April if we're lucky

Development definitely looks like it's slowed, maybe the devs are losing interest in the game

What are Shin sisters' species? Are they otherworldly just like Otohime?
Yeah, the closest things I could find about their history is that Amane is based off of Pangu, Tenxka is based off of Nüwa, and they're both liquid!

@@yabusamehoulen7636 There aren't many modern bullet hell games with active communities like Touhou. Bullet hell is a pretty niche genre that's notoriously difficult and frustrating to get into, but it's also unique and pretty to look at.
And Touhou has goofy characters!
