Just wanted to say thank you for the fabulous stories you post on your 2 channels, i very much look forward to getting into bed at night and putting on your stories that carry me off on a wonderful adventures before falling to sleep, hope there will be many more to come. And i would love it if you did the northern lights trilogies, just an idea! Or maybe some of the unfortunate events books. Whatever you choose iam sure that i will continue to enjoy them and thanks again for making the end of each of my days better.
I'm very glad you're enjoying them; the good news is that I've already uploaded and scheduled at least one play for every day between now and the end of the year on both channels, with a lot of extra ones for Christmas and Halloween. On this channel there will be a lot of children's book adaptations in December, particularly... The Northern Lights books would of course be perfect for that, however I'm a bit cautious about using them. It's basically impossible to upload any of the BBC Terry Pratchett adaptations, and likewise The Lord of the Rings, so I suspect that I'd be risking a copyright strike if I uploaded any of His Dark Materials... However, I do have a very big archive of recordings so the output ought to keep fresh and interesting for a little while yet...
@@2msvalkyrie529 I assumed it was a comment about the fact that this is my second channel of radio programmes. I still find the comment mysterious and nonsensical for a lot of reasons (not least, the content on this channel mostly wouldn't be appropriate to the other one)... but hey ho...
So glad I found this. It was wonderful.
Thank you for uploading this gem
What a treasure trove your two channels are! Thanks so much for posting. It's really appreciated.
Not at all. Over the years I've benefitted from people sharing their old recordings online, I think it's only fair to carry that on...
Loved these books as a child. Thanks for posting!
I've also uploaded a 1990s adaptation of 'The Dark is Rising' on this channel - hope you enjoy them.
Loved it! I enjoy the English stories from that era. I hope there will be more ❤️❤️🙏
There will indeed - the sequel to this, 'The Dark is Rising' is coming up, as are plays based on the fantasy novels of Alan Garner amongst others...
Am so glad I found your channel😊
Have already listened to Mary Poppins😊😊
Dark is Rising is next😅
You might like the Alan Garner plays on here too - and I can strongly recommend The Giant Under the Snow, especially for Christmas Eve...
What a wonderful story, fantasy story for a child.
SO. FAR. .A.
FANTASTIC. SCRIPT
COLLECTION. of. CAST
to generate a fantastic play & production. !!!!!
I hope to have the second (and sadly final) series on the channel quite soon...

I have issues with the adaptation (because I'm a purist), but I like the production.
Is that Ronald Pickup
Yes, it is - he returns in the radio serial of The Dark is Rising, too.
STUPID MOVE TO SEPERATE -- As you can see by now
Not sure I can..?
