O.O turned out to be one of the best ever debuts of kpop and people didn’t realize it at the time

NMIXX is different.
And NMIXX never disappoints.
I've only recently started following NMIXX but I feel they are underrated. It's probably their MIXXPOP style that has "disadvantaged" their popularity vs other well known groups but I love how true they are to their concept instead of changing it to suit prevailing trends which would make them sound exactly like other groups.
what turned me off of O.O on my first listen is that pause on the MV. so I said fck that. then completely ignored them for almost 2 years until I tried party o clock then got excited for dash. then Dash completely got me. going back to O.O I found out that the pause is only present in the MV. so I think MV editor or director fcked their debut lol. also listening to dash opened my eyes and ears to nmixx's experimental mixxpop songs. now I'm literally obsessed. I've been binge watching their entire thing for 2 months now.
i swear nmixx are so talented they can do EVERYTHING i really recommend "dice" and "run for roses" if you want hear their vocals i recommend the performances at its live and sound bomb 360°

And you ask what AD MARE is - it's a name of their first album (O.O is debut and TANK was originaly considered to use as debut aswell). Their other albums are ENTWURF, expérgo (this album is such a dope), A Midsummer NMIXX's Dream, Fe3O4: BREAK (realeased in the end of January this year.) post edit - about WHALE, this is their signature animal, which is also in the center of NMIXX lightstick. You should definitely check out their stage practices! They sing live while dancing and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference whether it’s live or not because they sound the exactly same.

Tank is a b-side of the 1st album AD MARE, very catchy and I recommend you to watch the studio choom version! And the next MV is Dice!

"Tank" is the B-side of O.O, therefore their second release; it doesn't have a MV, but the Studio Choom performance is iconic (hint, hint). If you follow their discography chronologically, from Love Me Like This onwards you want to watch the stage practice videos as well (not dance, but stage practice). Trust me, you don't want to miss these. Keep it going.

Thank a lot for the review. I like to suggest you to review "Tank" which is the second one in the Ad Mare album. This song reminds me the vibe of 60-70s' British Progressive Rock. What a funny a girl group song have such an unique vibe but it is my most favorite NMIXX song so far.

You wouldnt believe the amount of hate they got after this debut. To this day I really dont understand where it came from. I remember watching this premier the minute it released, I couldnt belive my eyes and ears. I never would have expected this from a JYPE Girl Group but I LOVED IT. Thats why im still here because of their uniqueness and their incredible talent. Thank you for checking NMIXX out, they really dont get enough attention.
