This is really cool, I've never put any thought into how 8 bit music was made and this makes it make sense to me, something I'm still unsure about is why the instruments are labeled how they are, are those references to different tones the sound processor in the NES can produce? Also seeing this deconstructed really pointed out to me how "Square 2" overpowers the other channels in the final mix, before it all sounded much more blended in together, I wonder what it would end up sounding like if "Square 2" were stepped up to a slightly higher tone.

Can You put the timestamps on the video Plz?
3:33 Triangle is too soothing for this
It took me a while to see the comment reply, but thanks for telling me you already deconstructed this! I love it!
I'd love to see one of these for any of Tim Follin's work on the NES. That guy did some crazy work with the four channel limit.
Do you know what games he worked on?

Can You make the Timestamps chapters in the video?
It's done!
It's " Napalm Man " not" Naplam man "
Ah, thank you for letting me know, it's been amended!

The NES has 4 main sound channels, there are two square channels and the triangle wave and noise channels.
