I used this technique on a scarf I made recently. It worked very well and wasn't that hard to do. The fabric I used was a medium-weight linen so it was more bulky than your fabric. The dye didn't penetrate as well as it did on other parts of the scarf, but it still turned out beautifully. Thank you for your videos.
Debbie Mansperger Thank you for your complement, and so happy the technique worked well on your scarf. It will be wonderful you share the pics here. We will keep on working on the useful skills and share. Hope to hear good news ,and soon... Good luck, and best wishes to you.

Recently we are busy looking for a new place to rebuild the work shop, but we will manage to do new videos if we got time. Please be patient and have fun of creating beautiful works. And hope to hear from you soon.Good luck!
How did you get the white part? I tried this, but the dye bleeds everywhere. I covered all of the surface with dyes, It still creates a really beautiful circular flower since i use 2 dyes (indigo and pink). But i failed to get the white contrast on the flower. Does it have a special dyeing technique? Thank you, great video!
Nada Faradilla I think maybe is coz of the rubber bands are too lose.Next time, try to tighten the rubber bands as possible as you can. Hope you can get the results you like.

Hi Evangeline. Thank you so much for these videos; they are really helpful! I am having difficulty, though, with getting the dye into the fabric because of all the folds. Do you have any suggestions? I dip the fabric multiple times, and try to open all the folds as much as possible, but still there is a lot of white. Thank you!

but hey the tie dye is very beautiful
what if we want to do that on a t-shirt?
Can we use thread instead of ring and rubber bands?
Of course you can. Just make sure to bend and tie it as much as you can, then you’ll have the beautiful pattern as wish.Good luck and have fun with it.
