Very brave human being and cared so much for the animals in the zoo and the world 🌎 at large and all the way around the world saying don't disrespect any wild animal or the animal can end you very quickly.
His legacy will live on forever.
I definitely feel like Charlotte being on the channel adds a lot of depth. It's clear she knows a lot more about other things complimenting Shawn's specialist knowledge in theme parks.

My grandma actually travelled to Australia and watched Steve do the Croc show, she said it was something she will never forget. Always wanted to go to Australia zoo
Australia Zoo is my absolute favorite. Steve was a legend, was so good to see Robert in his element just like his dad last time we went.

When I was In Malaysia or Thailand I went to a beach and went through the grass around the island and I saw a kimono dragon staring straight at me. If I wasn’t with someone else who knew what that thing was I would have been lunch. We legged it so fast back to safety as she was protecting her young. These things are MASSIVE!
That was amazing guys! What an absolute legacy Steve Irwin left behind not only for his family but for the education and conservation of Australia. I love how the zoo has alot of interactive information, shows and talks. Brilliant 👏 loved Charlottes new Koala song too. Happy travels x

At 29:10 the animal in the enclosure is called a Binturong also known as a bearcat who’s closest relatives are genets and civets not related to wombats at all. Great video :)

Another amazing vlog Shawn & Charlotte. I grew up watching the Crocodile🐊Hunter on Animal Planet here in the US. Steve, Terry, Bindi & Robert made it so much fun to watch. Was so heartbroken💔when Steve passed away. He's buried there on the zoo grounds. Steve Irwin's legacy lives on. May he rest🙏in eternal love & peace. Nice to see Robert following in his father's footsteps. Love you guys.

Every Christmas I purchase a Calendar from the Zoo. Robert Irwin has taken all the photos.
Visited Australia from the uk and went to the zoo in mid Nov 2022 on the way up to Noosa from Brisbane. Fantastic zoo. It was Robert Irwin’s Birthday and they played a video of his dad which bought the guy to tears. Love the fact they feed the crocs chicken with the feathers still on and that you can get up close with (most) of the animals.
Great video, the Steve Irwin bit literally burst me into tears! So glad they honour his legacy. I also want to ech some other comments that this was Charlotte's best video simply because she complements Shawn's general excitement and reaction/ initial surprised commentary with her clearly deep knowledge so brilliantly and she is getting so good on TPW too. This may sound a bit odd - but you two show me me what life could be like if you really wanted it to be.

the tiger enclosure here reminds me a bit of the tiger enclosure at the San Diego Safari park (my personal favorite zoo I have been to) they are both very well themed. this looks like an amazing zoo!

Another great video. The Irwins normally run the crocodile portion of the crocoseum show but those zoo keepers still did a great job.

I lived in Broome, top of Western Australia. My mate lived on a mango farm and they had a pet Kangaroo called Rocky, his mum had been killed on the road, so Rocky was orphaned as a joey and they took him in and raised him. He was a lovely boy 🦘

Fab vlog guys! Australia Zoo is a bucket list destination for me, I loved following Steve Irwin and his family when I was growing up. Seeing Charlotte’s childlike wonder at all the animals is lovely to see (that would be my exact reaction, plus tears 😂) Keep up the amazing videos 🥰

What a great zoo. That crocodile show was unbelievable. Like you I was on the edge of my seat when the guy was in the water with it. Not for me I’m afraid.
Same with the reptile house. I don’t trust anything that moves sideways across the ground.
I loved Charlotte’s genuine excitement at seeing the koalas.
All the other animals were in great compounds and so easy to see.
A lovely trip with a great gift shop at the end . Thanks for showing us around.

Aahh the zoo.....what a stunning place , I love zoos , and that one has to be the nicest I've seen , had to laugh when Charlotte got the goat question , tough one but I saw her dilemma, koalas are damn cute , I'm so glad you went to the zoo , such a beautiful landscape and looked really clean .I've really enjoyed watching that , getting to see some awesome animals in such great surroundings was brilliant , thanks again for doing the zoo 👍

What a amazing zoo like Charlotte I use to watch the program about the zoo with Steve god bless him and your actually there now well you learn something new every day that koalas 🐨 have chlamydia they are very cute though loving the journey with you take care both of you.
I love this Zoo Shawn, Shannan and I visited it many times while we were both active duty, even brought the girls on our last trip. So beautiful, and so in-expensive compared to Zoos here in the states such as the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. Enjoy your trip brother

I’ve been there, it’s amazing. There’s a really neat zoo not too far away where you can have a photo with a koala bear (you could when I was there anyway) at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary near to where you were staying.
I imagine koala fur is similar to chinchilla? I've had a few chinchilla's over the years. So cute and fluffy and well trained! Xxx
What a fantastic zoo,I saw a documentary years ago about a tiger enclosure where they did shows with the tigers and knew i just had to visit, but i didn't know where it was in Australia. Thanks to you, now I know 😁😁 so I'll definitely be taking a visit to Australia Zoo in the future.
Tbh I was a little nervous with the guy and the crocodile as well, if he lets go too late then poof there goes his arm 😬😬😬, i think a litter picker grabber would be safer especially as the croc was starting to get a little wound up towards the end there.
But other than that it seems like an excellent zoo that definitely had the animals at top priority. Enclosures and enrichment was excellent! Great vlog 👍

Just wanted to add going forward maybe it would have been a good idea to have purchased a memento for your museum back home .....it is after all a theme park of sorts and such a legendary one at the furthest point on earth you can go before your on the way back , take it from an old man and hindsight on nostalgia , even the littlest thing such as a fridge magnet (relatively inexpensive usually ) will bring back so many memories of that day as you get older , ask your mum, I bet there is things in the loft she kept from your younger years.....
This is amazing to see and sadly you may remember this Steve Irwin died in 2006 and he's never forgotten

Those red panda plushies look like the one I got a Faunia in Madrid a year ago, but they then got different ones when I visited again a few weeks later, which is quite interesting

Water dragons are everywhere. The one you saw at MovieWorld the other day in the DC Rivals queue has been there for ages. It actually had a barney with another big one when I was in the queue a few weeks back, to most peoples bemusement.
