    In the days, weeks, and months to come, we will need to invest a lot more in the onboarding experience, UX/UI(Controls streamlining), balancing of the game loop, pace, combat, and feels to cater to the various audiences you mentioned.
    The team is very aware, and we are actively working on prioritizing and executing some of the items you mentioned.

      Man! Great video. And damn, the engagement these developers have with content creators and the community is outstanding. I never seen anything like it.
      I said to a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago when I first saw this game ,” there’s something special about this game and I am in for the journey on day one.”
      That specialness I recognize immediately was all the influences that they’re in infusing the game with particularly the Team Ico and climbing mechanics.
      I hope they get enough support to keep the magic growing.

    Things I hope the tweak:
    1. Durability of tools
    2. Visibility of items to pick up
    3. Marking Withered areas on the map
    4. Custom Waypoints for the map
    5. Access to ALL storage from your mount

    1 - Nonsense loot drops -- something is meant to drop something but SO RARELY does -- Elastic Fin -- I've spent HOURS arrowing fish to get one.... Still haven't got it.
    I was watching TagBackTv play during his initial stream -- it took him 1.5 HOURS to get some thatch.
    2 - Farming Quantity -- Digging up clay/coal/stone piles to only be given a single piece... nah
    3 - Plants disappearing -- Plants growing in an area not reliably being in that area -- I forget the name of the plant but it is the fern that grows around the main tree that can heal broken bones for the horse looking animal. Played for about 2 hours earlier today -- I found 1 fern.
    There is definitely some work that needs to get done. Awesome concept and I think, like you, that it could grow into an amazing title.

    I agree with the clunky mechanics, Sometimes it is a bit fidgety, but overall I don't think the game is check list oriented slog.
    I love seeing my king trees grow and advancing my villages, for me its reason enough to keep playing.
    I'm super excited to see how dreamlit's amazing dev team continue to improve the game and expand on such a creative IP👍

    Hey man, thanks for the video and I agree with most and still love the game and can't wait to watch it evolve. Sorry if I missed how you were playing, but I think combat is good on PC w/ keyboard and mouse. My only thing is that a lot of the mid level mobs are a bit on the easy side to cheese because the bow staggers them.

      It definitely isn't bad, but I feel it needs a bit more weight and ease of use with a lock on feature

    I'm not sure if this is normal, but in my game, additional big trees just don't grow. It has a flower and that's it. The requirement for the big tree is to have 3 other big trees, but I'm not able to do that.

      I had an issue where the trees were not showing and I had to relog the game for to be appear, be chopped down, and 4 more planted. I made a short about it

      The devs are currently working on a major issue where as you play further things don't render properly. At first restarting fixes the issue but eventually it becomes unplayable
      **Saves are fine**, this is their top priority

    Im loving the game so far and they're making rapid updates. The bow combat is great. It feels fluid and you get to recover your arrows after you shoot them, which is actually so engaging to me
    I do really dislike the tree upgrades having 2 steps. Do x, then give me y. Personally id prefer if it was just one task with all the objectives. It doesnt feel so much of a checklist to me as a "come back after your plant cycle ends"

    What is a game you feel did this genre the best?

      What is most intriguing to you about this type of game/genre? There are so many games that hit really well in specific areas while lacking in others, my personal preferences for combat would be enshrouded, world exploration valheim or Ark, building would be minecraft (Redstone), enemies would be the forest, my all time favorite though is project zomboid. I have yet to really give nightingale and icarus a try yet.
      I would say though again that Towers is very unique in what it is offering to the genre with town building and Ecosystem nurturing, I'm excited to see where they take it.

    sunk 24 hours into this game so far, actually enjoying it but there's a lot of stuff that really pisses me off. The grinding this game has is mental, running round for hours for materials and you only have enough to craft like 2 things
    It needs to have quest items listed when a quest is tracked, because i'm sick of walking miles back to the npc just to find out what i need to get

    Personally, I don't relate to any of these concerns. I just enjoy the process of building the ecosystemes and communities. I hope they don't add more combat demands. I just want to do my own worldbuilding without having to fight a boss or something.

      Yeah, listening to this back I did not intend to come off harsh. We enjoy the game for different reasons and just because I feel a certain way doesn't mean everyone does
