I honestly think this is superior to whatever microphones you are using now. The new ones are almost too sensitive. These pick up the perfect balance of mouth sounds, tapping etc. It has the effect like you are whispering through the telephone or something. It's soooooo tingly!! I miss the old days.. I also love these unrehearsed, rambling videos. New ASMR videos have their good points, but it's like watching your old favorite TV shows from when you were a kid, its so comforting, and familiar. Thankfully you have so many old videos!

Rosenna I’m exactly the same as you. I’ve been saying for ages, this old style, simple asmr gives better tingles for a lot of people. Wish she would use her old mic/style again! Nothing beats the originals.

she changed the way she speaks nowadays. Now some parts of words are deliberately dragged for relaxation purposes but they are unnaturally emphasized so the unintentional effect is lost. It evolved to more of a professional performance than random raw asmr. Oh well at least we have these old gems. Also recommend another Mary ->southernasmr sounds her philosophy is forever lowfi whatever comes to mind no fansy setup asmr. Lot's of Content to choose from

• Toggle ‘Mono Audio’
The audio will now play evenly in both ears. (Just don’t forget to turn it off before watching binaural videos).

Along with the story telling that has pauses where you’re thinking about what to say - idk why that’s such a big trigger for me it just makes me feel like I have a friend talking to me and makes me comfortable.

Yes, it's supposed to be distressed, and a little sticky- but if it gets hair or gunk or becomes dull, you can buff it- it's doesn't look damaged by the voyage thoug- I thought it was gonna get all scratched up but it looks fine :)

I have that same case but in lime green:) its great when I'm able to confuse people but it doesn't work as well since mine is the white iPhone. Great job and I really look forward to seeing well hearing more from you:)
I think its the radio mic that's making us hear it only in one ear... at uni we have to use radio mics (like the one you're wearing) if we want to add music/ whatever to a film. They usually only record on one sound channel... it'd be possible to figure out how to record on both channels but probably easier just to use the camera's in-built microphone... hope this helps! :D
I've always had a tough ASMR tingle to trigger, and I never got many tingles, but that cardboard scraping made me get super tingles

Maria I have got over 300 cassettes from the 80's on my walkman !! they are all in the loft - I am a true 80s and 90s girl!!!
