I've been going through hard times and it's very difficult to get through my day, I come home and I just want to curl up in a ball and wish I wasn't there, but you are the only thing that keeps me alright. Because in your videos you say, "your loved, wanted, and your good". And I feel like you speak right through the camera, to me. hi I am also a fan of Maria's. My name is Maria also. when I read ur text it just tug at my heart. I am so sorry for the pain u r feeling. If I may share with u that I too know that pain. I do not no ur circumstances but the pain we share of feeling unloved. unwanted. that we DONT matter is a universal feeling. if u DONT mind I wld like to share with you my story just very briefly n how I learned that I do not need anyone but myself to love me. I have 5 children every single one has alienated me from there lives. I do not get to see my grandchildren but a few times in their lives n I luv them so much n they love me. This all happened because I found out 5 yrs ago after being married at that time 25 yrs that is was a sociopath n had been brainwashing my children for yrs as I wld run the family business at night.. I left him because of the emotional n verbal abuse that my oldest son was mimicking. when I left he started a campaign to destroy me n over time my kids just looked at me as the bad parent. He has stolen everything I ever accomplished which was substantial. he lives in house that I PD half of. so for last 8 yrs I have not gone out. for yrs I beg my children to come with me. none did. today its just me n my dog. at first I felt worthless. unloved. not needed. felt like I didn't matter. this is what I did n I will share it with in hopes that it will help u. First I began to have a real relationship with Jesus. I spoke to Him all day long. today he is my best friend. I cld never have survived without his unconditional love n His blessings. I also began to educate myself on y people wld treat me like that n began to understand it wasn't me at all. this man still controls my life because I am unable to come up with the 3500 needed for divorce. But today I no y he does what he does. I have come to love myself n realized I can not change the way anyone thinks. even my mom n 9 siblings reject me. But today because I've learn to love myself n am loved unconditionally by Jesus I have come to terms with it. physically it has destroyed me but mentally I am strong. the first thing u must do is learn that y do not need others to love you for u to love urself. when u learn to do that u will no u matter. that u r lovable. unique. I've learned that there r just so many haters unhappy people but that is their issue. U have been given the gift of life so learn to not let anyone take that away. at some point we both gave our power away. our lives being ran because of how others treat us. Regain ur power. If u believe in Jesus make Him ur most imp relationship. Give itself to Him..pain and all n live according to His word. U will feel His unconditional love n trust me when this happens you will feel more loved than ever before. Educate itself about everything in ur life that causes u to feel the way u do. You do matter. There is a reason y ur here. Learn to realize ur strengths n ur beauty within. there is no one on this earth who is exactly like you making you very special. Amazing. I'm 53 years old and I always thought I was crazy because of the way certain sounds relaxed me and put me to,sleep, not to mention the strange feeling that they give me. I never knew it had a name.
ASMR has been a life saver for me. As someone who suffers from anxiety AND does shift work. I find your videos so helpful when I need to wind down and sleep after a busy shift when I have to be up early again in the morning, when I'm waiting at the airport for a flight, when I'm in the taxi on the way to meet new people! I only wish I discovered ASMR sooner, and you are one of the most wonderful practitioners. As a nurse I've found I utilise ASMR techniques in small ways when helping patients with dementia sleep or dealing with scared patients in emergency. So, thankyou! Please keep doing what you're doing and know that it is life saving and wonderful! xox

Stellaluna was one of my absolute favorite books growing up that my mom would read to me. When I saw that was the book someone sent to you I gasped! If you have any kids in your life reading it to them before bed in the kind of relaxing way only you can do will give them the best childhood memories, I guarantee it. It is a beautiful story. You are a beautiful person!
awww Stella Luna is a wonderful story. I worked in an elementary library for 8 years and our librarian shared it with 2nd grade students each year. I love children's literature.

Maria---your videos are the best and you are by FAR my favorite ASMRtist =o) I have a suggestion for a video. I love your unboxing and unwrapping, but what about boxing and wrapping gifts? I love the sound of paper--- cutting, folding, shredding, etc. You have such a magnificent eye for beauty and detail. I'd would LOVE to see you wrapping gifts for birthdays or Christmas; even if it was in one of those gift bags with the tissue paper. I'd love to see how you decorate your Christmas Gifts with ribbon, trinkets, decor, trimming, etc. Have a sparkling week Maria =o)
Awww it's such a good book! I used to read Stellaluna to my daughter! She loves bats because of it. There's even an animated movie about it! It's a real treasure.

Deja vu is a lag between your short term and long term memory. If information gets sent to long term first (instead of the other way around) your brain thinks it's getting the info twice.
+Kameron Peterson not to bust your bubble, but they theorised it to be this way. they are still not 100 %sure how it really works. the brain is still a complex mistery. :) Never forget our reality is purely based on what we perceive with our senses, anything beyond is out of our understanding. ;)

Stellaluna was one of my absolute favorite books growing up that my mom would read to me. When I saw that was the book someone sent to you I gasped! If you have any kids in your life reading it to them before bed in the kind of relaxing way only you can do will give them the best childhood memories, I guarantee it. It is a beautiful story. You are a beautiful person!
awww Stella Luna is a wonderful story. I worked in an elementary library for 8 years and our librarian shared it with 2nd grade students each year. I love children's literature.

Maria---your videos are the best and you are by FAR my favorite ASMRtist =o) I have a suggestion for a video. I love your unboxing and unwrapping, but what about boxing and wrapping gifts? I love the sound of paper--- cutting, folding, shredding, etc. You have such a magnificent eye for beauty and detail. I'd would LOVE to see you wrapping gifts for birthdays or Christmas; even if it was in one of those gift bags with the tissue paper. I'd love to see how you decorate your Christmas Gifts with ribbon, trinkets, decor, trimming, etc. Have a sparkling week Maria =o)

Awww it's such a good book! I used to read Stellaluna to my daughter! She loves bats because of it. There's even an animated movie about it! It's a real treasure.

Deja vu is a lag between your short term and long term memory. If information gets sent to long term first (instead of the other way around) your brain thinks it's getting the info twice.
+Kameron Peterson not to bust your bubble, but they theorised it to be this way. they are still not 100 %sure how it really works. the brain is still a complex mistery. :) Never forget our reality is purely based on what we perceive with our senses, anything beyond is out of our understanding. ;)
