While Boise deserves to be in the Pac12, don't think 5 PNW teams, to 3 in all of Calif will happen. Boise goes to the Big12.

Great job Fresno State on wining this bowl game convincingly over a Pac 12 team. Thank you Coach Tedford and the team on a great season coming from adversity. Way to show the nation that Fresno State belongs in the PAC 12!!!
MEANINGLESS game. A HUGE number of WSU's best players did not play in this game because they hit the transfer portal. Key WSU coaches took jobs at other schools. This is NOT the same WSU team from the regular season. The regular season WSU team would have easily beat Fresno State.

EVEN if the Fresno State football team was really good year in and year out, another reason why they DO NOT belong in the Pac12 is because none of their other sports teams - men or women - are very good. You can't just have ONE good team, and expect a Power5 conference to accept you into their conference, when the rest of schools sports teams aren't very good. Their men's basketball team is not doing well at the moment. Their women's team is doing slightly better, but they are FAR from being good. Their volleyball team is horrendous. What other sports do they have that can compete in the PAC-12?

The only games that usually will have their full roster strength is the playoff teams. FACTS.
So many haters that don't want to see schools like Boise State and Fresno State in a so called power 5 conference. You all know Boise and Fresno kick butt. You can even throw in San Diego St. So you are saying Washington St dominates in other sports? We all know the college landscape relies on football to bring in the most revenue. SMH

The book is certainly out on Cam Ward: show pressure from a lot of angles and he stops looking up field.
Yeah, that may be true, but his offensive line stunk like week old garbage in this game. The running game suffered and Ward's protection suffered all game long, which is why the Cougars only scored 6 points.

Yes. There is no other California team with Fresno State's sport credentials. San Diego State has two conference titles (none with Boise as the opponent) and Fresno has 3, having beaten Boise on The Blue twice.
Saw this game in real time. WSU didn't have nothing on offense but just Cameron Ward run left, Ward run right, Ward run up the middle, Ward RPO and then getting a few yards or none, wide receivers not getting consistent separation for s***, the running game not having Ward's back, and so-so blocking.
Don't make excuses for CW, he has been consistent in being a below average quarterback. Are there issues in other key areas? Sure. The biggest issue was the O-Line. They played soft, and yes the receivers got little separation.
But in my opinion Cam Ward was overhyped. People bought into it, but if you watch the highlights of every WSU game this season, you see the same athlete EVERY FUCKING GAME.
I don't like the guy, he needs to go back to Incarnate-Ward or wherever the fuck he came from.
If he's still here next year, we'll be lucky to have another 7-5 regular season.
After the third/fourth game of the season, I saw what needed to see.

Haener got hurt against USC, once he came back they went on a roll. WSU was on a rollercoaster all yr (4-0, lose 4 straight, win 3 straight, lose last 2) but their OC just left and their offense suffered big time today. Just saw their top WR is in the transfer portal too

3:35. How Haener saw that guy so quickly, in between dodging multiple defenders, then great pass, should have pro scouts' ears wiggling. He might not get drafted, but I have him going in the fourth round.

What a special season for the the dogs from 1-4 to a conference championship and a bowl win over another pac-12 team , what else do they need to prove to the pac the Dogs and Boise can ball with these teams ,
Boise State ain't going to the PAC 12. Cali lost two teams t the Big 10 and now the replacements will be two Cali based schools-Fresno State & San Diego State

It states he attended Fresno State for two years, after Cerritos college in 1983; however, his playing career list states he played for the Hamilton Tiger Cats in 1983 and a few other Canadian teams before doing his last season at Winnepeg Bombers in 1988 (that was basically as a fifth year senior).
It goes onto to state that he was both a qb coach and an offensive coord at Fresno state before HCing at Cal.
