Great test brother! The steak looked incredible! I’d say the test was a success!!🔥🔥
I have to say it was one of the best tasting steaks off a griddle. The little grill brings the heat and makes a killer crust. I don't know if you guys would be interested but me and a couple other guys from 2 other channels stated a live show we do every once in awhile called the Shit Show. We would love to have you guys on sometime to shoot the shit about cooking and whatever. Let me know what you think. Thanks👍👍👍
Giddy up cowboy! That steak is a bad boy!
I may change my channel name to Bad Boy Griddling 😅😅
This is the best music you could choose?
Probably not but needed copyright free music for TH-cam.
I am cooking breakfast for a managers meeting. I may need to borrow that for extra space
Come get it and put it to work.
The thing about these is once the nonstick coat is gone its no good anymore.
Very true. I'm in touch with a guy to fabricate a steel top for it.
Does your griddle top move a lot on the right side, I purchased one of these but upon unboxing I saw that the locking lever had some damage and did not hold the griddle surface securely, took it back and am leery of obtaining another one. Is the lock spring loaded or something?
I have not had any issues in the top moving. The lock is not spring loaded it just twist. You have to have the griddle in the right spot for it to work.
@@griddlecookeatandmore Actually it is spring loaded. You have to push up and turn it a garter turn. The hold down has a a tab on it to hold griddle in place.
I better check mine because it doesn't feel spring loaded.
@griddlecookeatandmore Oh, by the way, the steak looked delicious. Looking forward to doing a steak on mine. I've done a few cooks on mine checking it out. Getting ready for 5 month Motor Home adventure to include Alaska. Plan on using mine a whole lot on this trip. Will be lighter and easier to set up than my 22 inch that I had been using.
Dang Doug that steak looks 🔥🔥. Definitely got a sear on that bad boy! How’s the top holding up so far? Great test! Cheers brother 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
So far so good on the top. This little grill brings the heat for a killer sear.
I just bought this grill and am looking forward to taking it camping....can you post the size of the grease liners you are using?
They are called Blackstone Camp Griddle Grease Cup Liners. 5893 is the part number. They sell them by the griddles in the camping isle at Walmart.
@@griddlecookeatandmore thank you SO much....they were not at any of the Wally World's I went to which is why I asked! Thanks again!
That was a win, great job brother man!
I will say it was one of the best steaks I cooked on a griddle. This little griddle gets hot so I thought why not try a steak.
I was just telling Mel this morning I want to do a steak on the griddle
This was one of the best steaks I have had off a griddle.
Now that looks tasty but throw a couple eggs on top with some taters. That’s some good groceries.
I could definitely get down with some eggs and taters with that steak. Thanks for watching.
🤤🤤🤤🤤
This was one of the best steaks I have ever cooked on a griddle.
That steak is cooked to perfection Doug!!! I would say that test was a success 🙌 😊😊
❤Annie
I have to say this was one of the best steaks I have cooked on a griddle. I'm super impressed with the heat of this little Bad boy 😂😂😂
@@griddlecookeatandmore no, you're the bad boy 😏 😎
Considering my 28 in may not handle it all😅
I have a 36" you can borrow 👍👍
Would have been nice to know what heat setting you cooked it on and for how long instead of that music. Seems like you might as well just cook it in a teflon coated aluminum pan on your stove top doubt it would taste an different.
I had the griddle set on high on both burners. The griddle surface was about 570 degrees when I put the steak down. I cooked the steak for 2 minutes then flipped it and 2 minutes again. I then cooked it for an additional 4 minutes flipping every minute. This put the steak at a medium temperature. The steak was roughly about 3/4 inches thick. You could totally do that on a skillet on a stovetop but you do not always have a stovetop when camping. This griddle was designed to be compact and portable for camping. I have several videos before this going over the features of the griddle and also a video making breakfast and a video making smash burger. Thanks for watching.
Posting that steak video has to be a joke.
I guess the jokes on you. 😎 BTW the steak was Delicious.
